Abstract
An incense saver 3 which is made of a 'U' shaped metal sheet 2 and a sponge 1 glued to it for the purpose of stopping an incense stick from burning all the way until it runs out. As shown in figure 3 the sponge 1 is loaded with water and locked on an incense stick 4.
Description
The incense saver
This invention relates to a'U'shaped rectangular piece of metal or plastic and sponge to be used as an incense saver.
Incense is a widely used product to perfume the air in houses. The most commonly incense used is one, which comprises of a thin wooden stick coated for most of its length by incense. This incense is burned and let to consume which in turn releases a scented smoke.
However, these incense sticks'are long and once they are burning they will continue to do so until all the incense runs out. This may sometimes be not required, as burning only a small length of the incense would be sufficient for a required size room.
According to the present invention a rectangular thin sheet of sponge is glued to the inside of a'U'shaped rectangular piece of metal or plastic.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:
Figure 1 shows in perspective the'U'shaped piece together with the inside sponge layer.
Figure 2 shows a front view of the arrangement.
Figure 3 illustrates how the'U'shaped piece is mounted on an incense stick.
Referring to the drawing the incense saver 3, comprises of a'U'shaped rectangular sheet of metal or plastic 2. Another rectangular sheet 1 made of sponge material is glued to the U'shaped rectangular piece of metal or plastic 2.
The incense saver is placed under a tap of running water in order to load the sponge. Then it is placed on the incense stick 4 as shown by Figure 3. It can be placed at any point along the length of the stick 4 depending on the length of incense that one wishes to bum.
Once in place the stick 4 can then be burned and it will stop doing so when the burning incense reaches the saver 3 due to the water held by the sponge 1, therefore the incense can be left burning unattended.
