Abstract

To prevent theft of a hanging basket, a flat twisted iron bar as shown, with scrolled bars welded thereto at one end opposite drilled holes, is inserted from below through a flower basket until the scrolls rest against the underside of the basket (Figure 5, not shown), when a lock is passed through one of the holes and a hole in an overhead bracket to suspend and secure the basket. A lock and key are supplied with the bar, which may be 1.27 cm (1/2") wide and 71.12 cm (28") long.

2341316 The invention relates to a hanging basket locking bar Hanging
baskets full of summer bloom are a pleasant and decorative way of showing flowers to both the owner and public.
However many full bloom hanging baskets are removed from property without the owners consent, which results in either having to purchase another basket, or not displaying them at all.
This simple invention provides a safe and valuable solution to this problem.
It is called a HANGING BASKET LOCKING BAR.

Claims (7)

CLAIM
1) A hanging basket locking bar which is attached to and forms part of any hanging basket.
2) A hanging basket locking bar as claimed in claim 1 where at least 1 pece of bar is used.
A hanging basket locking bar as claimed in claim 2 where as curves are made in at least one piece of bar.
4) A hanging basket locking bar as claimed in claim 4 where as holes are drilled in at least one piece of bar.
5) A Hanaina basket locking bar as claimed in claim 4 where as holes are drilled in 0 --, 1 at least one piece of bar.
6) A hanging basket locking bar as claimed in claim 5 where as a small lock and key q w 0 0 is supplied.
7) A hangine, basket locking bar substantially as described here in with reference to 0 W figures 1-5 of the accompanying drawing.
