Abstract
The Giraffe connects water supplies to pipes and taps of baths and sinks, which need easy access to disconnect, reconnect or install. It has been designed with a long-neck-type vertical pipe to make connecting disconnecting and reconnecting easier. It has a locking flange a at the top with an internal thread b, an external or internal thread at the bottom, and shaped shank to tighten it when making the connection. It is hollow from top to bottom to enable water to travel easily through it. The Giraffe includes washers as seen in Figure 3.

1 The Giraffe can be used to connect all liquid and gas supplies to any suitable machinery, pipes, units, industrial plants, toilets, baths, bidets, showers, sinks or any liquid or gas-supplied appliances-.' which need to be connected, reconnected, intalled or maintained.
2 - The Giraffe is a combination of the following:
a lock flange at the top with an iternal or external thread, this makes an air or water tight seal when it is tightened to the machine or appliance, a long pipe- hence the name Giraffe, this enables the fitter to tighten The Giraffe while being able to see the tap or pipe, a shank of any shape is at the bottom of The Girffe to tighten The Giraffe to the appliance or machine. It has an external or internal threaril The Giraffe is hollow from top to bottom to allow free travel for-the liquid or gas used, a rubber or fibre seal., fits into the top of The Giraffe to enable a tight seal, a rubber or fibre seal could also be used at the base of The Giraffe, ct the end of the thread.
It can be made out of any suitable material. eg. plastic, brass, stainless steel etc.
4 Asin mixer taps The Giraffe can be fitted with a lock on and lock off mechanism. When that mechanism is in use The Giraffe's external and internal threads may not be needed.
