Abstract
A sex machine 11 comprising a support structure 12 arranged to support the body of a user, a carrier 19 for artificial genitalia, such as a vagina 18 or penis (41) and a counter-balance 22 connected to the carrier 19. The carrier 19 is movably coupled to the support structure 12 through a mechanical linkage, whereby movement of the carrier 19 relative to the support structure 12 results in a restorative movement of the carrier 19 by the counter-balance 22.
Description
1 Medical Sex Machine 2337001 The present invention relates to a medical
or sex machine enabling either a man or a woman to simulate sexual intercourse without having a partner.
An object of the invention is to provide a machine that is simple and satisfactory to use without being excessively complicated.
According to the present invention, there is provided a sex machine comprising a support structure arranged to support the body of a user, a carrier for artificial genitalia, and a counter-balance arrangement connected to the carrier, the carrier being movably coupled to the support structure through a mechanical linkage, whereby movement of the carrier relative to the support structure results in a sequential restorative movement of the carrier by the counter-balance arrangement.
Conveniently, the genitalia comprises an artificial vagina or an artificial penis with optimal testicles.
Thus, for example a male user could insert his penis into the artificial vagina and a subsequent forward movement by the user would cause the vagina to move rearwards and detach from the penis. The counter-balance arrangement would then cause the vagina to return forwards and to reengage the penis. This to and fro action can be repeated, under the control of the user. It will be appreciated that a corresponding action can be experienced by a female user, employing the artificial penis.
Preferably, the counter-balance arrangement includes a handle operatively connected to the carrier whereby movement of the handle causes the carrier to move relative to the support structure. Thus a disabled user in position on the support structure can operate the handle to move the artificial vagina or penis to simulate 2 movements which might occur during sexual intercourse.
Preferably, the handle is pivotally connected to the support structure. Preferably the linkage includes a parallelogram linkage for translating a rocking movement of the handle into a to and fro movement of the holder, and the holder is conveniently on a pair of generally vertical legs which can pivot about an axis in the floor through the bottoms of the legs. There may be a second linkage between the first linkage and the holder for producing movement in a generally vertical direction for clitoral stimulation when the machine is used by a woman. Preferably, the support structure includes four generally vertical legs extending to the floor.
It is convenient if the artificial vagina is enclosed by a hot water bottle or the equivalent for raising the temperature of the artificial vagina and also the pressure exerted by it, and indeed in the case of a machine for female use it is also possible to use a hot water bottle with advantageous effects. The bottle has the additional advantage of providing some added weight at the top of the legs for increasing the intensity of reciprocation/ vibration. Alternatively, an extra weight can be located on the carrier in place of the hot water bottle, though the machine can be used without either.
The machine may also include breast stimulation means, such as artificial hands, e.g. of rubber. The machine may also include an adjustable mirror, which may be a magnifying mirror, by means of which a user can observe movements of the genitalia more closely.
The invention may be carried into practice in various ways and one embodiment with a modification will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, of which Figure 1 is a sketch of an elevation of a sex machine 3 for male use; and Figure 2 is a modification for female use. The machine 11 comprises a support structure 12 having four legs 13 with cross pieces 14 and a base 15, the whole of which supports a panel 16 for carrying a cushion on which the user can lie, or a chest support 17.
At one end of the support structure 12 is an artificial vagina 18 mounted on a carrier 19 which is itself supported on a pair of legs 21 with extensible lower ends. The legs 21 are arranged to rock to an fro about a horizontal axis in the plane of the floor through the bottom ends of the legs 21.
The rocking motion is achieved by a counter-balance arrangement including a handle 22 which is located at the other end of the support structure 12 and is therefore convenient for a disabled user to hold when lying on the cushion. The handle 22 is connected through a bill crank 23 pivoted from the base 15 about a fulcrum. The end 24 of the bell crank 23 is coupled to a vertically extending member 25 forming one component of a parallelogram linkage having a pair of parallel arms 26 and a member 27 parallel with the member 25 and forming the end of the carrier 19 at the top of the legs 21.
Thus, an able-bodied male user can insert his penis into the artificial vagina 18 and effect and control the rocking movement of the carrier 19 on the legs 21. A disabled user can operate the handle 22 so that the carrier 19 and the legs 21 make the pivotal movement described above with that movement being transferred to the artificial vagina 18 which is carried on the carrier 19.
The vagina comprises a sponge 28 of synthetic plastics or rubber material about 150 mm by 100 mm by 40 mm with an 80 mm opening for insertion of the penis of the 4 user. This is optionally wrapped in a waterproof plastics sheet. A hot water bottle 29 or equivalent jacket is wrapped around the sheet and sponge 28 and held in position by elastic bands 31.
The temperature of the water in the bottle 29 can be regulated in accordance with the user's requirement, and the quantity of water can be chosen to give a desired pressure or hardness around the vagina 18.
In the modification shown in Figure 2 is intended for female use. It is similar to the embodiment of Figure 1 other than in the genitalia. Thus, the holder 19 carries an artificial penis 41 instead of the vagina. There may be a secondary parallelogram linkage which produces an up and down movement of the carrier 19 superimposed on the to and fro pivoting movement of the legs 21 for clitoral stimulation. A hot water bottle may be fastened underneath the framework -cl to warm the artificial penis and also to provide some additional weight at the top of the legs 21 which gives a stronger rhythmic vibration. Alternatively, the weights 42 may be applied to the holders 19 or to the panel 16 to provide stability.
It is to be observed that although part of the movement is derived from operation of the handle 22 there is also a component movement deriving from the natural movement of the user and in many respects that is considered to be of more importance than the movement from the handle 22.
The machine 11 may also include a magnifying mirror 43 which can be adjusted to provide a clearer view of the genitalia 18,41 and activity. In use, the genitalia would normally be lubricated, as required. The machine 11 can be located adjacent a bed 44. This would allow a female to use the machine 11 in the prone position, rather than in the standing position.
It will be appreciated that the machine according to the invention will be invaluable not only in providing enjoyment but also in preventing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and in providing a means for the medical establishment to assess impotence.
