Automatic steering-gears.-Apparatus for automatic steering of ships with a rudder motor controlled by a gyroscopic compass is provided, between the compass and motor, with time relays which transmit to the motor only those impulses which last at least half a rolling period of the ship. The time is set so as not to exceed a full rolling period.
