Abstract

In an all steel door and frame, the door is formed from a frame of steel box-section members faced on both sides with sheet steel, welded on the outer face and pop-rivetted on the inner. One side of the frame has oval holes to accommodate the back of a lock and milled holes for the front of a lock housing. The other side of the frame has holes to insert hinge lugs welded to the frame. The aperture frame is also of steel box-section with holes to accommodate fixing bolts, hinge lugs and lock bolts.

HINGES HINGES ARE MADE FROM MILD STEEL WELDED TO DOOR AND FRAME HINGES ARE UNIVERSAL LIFT OFF TYPE.
HINGES HAVE GREASE NIPPLE TO ONE END.

Claims (8)

  1. CLAIMS 1. An all steel or all galvanized, or all stainless steel door and frame.
  2. 2. . Door and frame can be made up of one, two or three of the above metals combined
  3. 3. Door fitted with any type of locking mechanism available.
  4. 4. When closed no visible joint or forcible entry points.
  5. 5. Ideal for fitting the gap in the ever growing break-in and vandalism areas.
  6. 6. Door can be inner opening or outer opening.
  7. 7. The door and frame is exceptionally strong giving excellent protection from attempted forced entry.
  8. 8. The door frame is extremely versatile and invented to fill the gap in many fields.
    Industrial Easily fitted, flush faced door, economically priced, no maintenance, easy access when wanted, almost impossible when access not wanted.
    Commercial Ideal for shops, offices, units.
    Domestic Made to look like any normal wooden door.
