Abstract

A container tor containing a powder to which a liquid is to be added initially contains the powder in a concertina-like collapsed condition and may be expanded to receive the liquid.

Description

DESCRIPTION CONSAPACK This invention relates to a concertina mechanism container which may be used to house and consume rehydratable powder based consumables from.
Such containers are well known in the straight cup format but do not have the concertina mechanism to enable the container to be compressed or expanded. Also, the standard straight cup is for consuming drinks from immediately where as with the ConsaPack it stays in its compressed format until you are ready to rehydrate the powder An object of the invention is to house (as one example) rehydratable medicines and analgesics. Due to the concertina mechanism the ConsaPack is compressed in transit therefor making it easier to transport to third world countries.
Preferably the ConsaPack is made from plastic or paper materials but it may be instead made from a combination of these materials (i.e. plastic lid and paper cup, or paper lid and plastic cup.
The attatched drawing show: Figure 1. The ConsaPack in its compressed format Figure 2. The ConsaPack having been expanded to full size. at this point the lid should be removed.
Figure 3. The powder is rehydrated.
Figure 4. The liquid is now ready to consume.
When the pack is empty it can be compressed and disposed of with minimum capacity.

Claims (6)

  1. CLAIMS CONSAPACK 1. A concertina container to house I consume rehydratable powders from which is light weight and compact
  2. 2. A concertina container as claimed in claim one of which can contain hot or cold liquid
  3. 3. A concertina container as claimed in claim one of which can be expanded or compressed when required for consumption or disposal
  4. 4. A concertina container as claimed in any preceding claim which can house / consume from rehydratable medicines, analgesics, soft drinks, hot drinks food stuffs, cosmetics or any other rehydratable powder based product
  5. 5. A concertina container as claimed in any preceding claim which is made from paper, plastic or a combination of these materials
  6. 6. A concertina container substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings
