Abstract

A device is connected between a pair of letterbox flaps comprising an inner flap and an outer flap, eg on a door. The device acts to correspondingly open or close one of said flaps, in response to the other being opened or closed. The device is adapted to be fitted to one lateral side of the inside of the letter box opening. The device may comprise a pair of inter-meshed gears (1), each having a jointed arm (3,4) fixed rigidly thereto at one end. The other end of each jointed arm (3,4) is to be mounted on a adjacent letterbox flap. The device may be enclosed in a box (5,6), within the mounting space.
