Abstract

A support to stabilise and support the lower part of a picture frame comprises a square or round, rubber or metal body having one or more pins 14 insertable in a wall and adhesive 12 for attachment to frame 13. The adhesive is covered with release paper.

2332371 1 PICTURE FRAME SUPPORT This invention relates to a picture frame
support.
A picture or ornament which hangs from a wall has the tendency to be lopsided due to either physical contact or vibrations. Unless permanently secured to the wall this unbalance is unavoidable.
With reference to the invention and above paragraph the picture frame support overcomes this problem. It is a small pin like product made from a combination of rubber, metal, paper and adhesive.
In correspondence to the invention the picture frame support is constructed from one or more pin(s) which protrudes from a circular or, s:quare, rubber or metal head. This head in turn is attached to the back of the picture frame by an adhesive substance, although this is protected by a peel away (rip off) strip of paper until required.
In order for the picture frame support to work, the peel away paper strip 10 is removed to reveal, underneath, the adhesive head 11 as in Fig. 1. The picture frame support adhesive head 12 is then attached to either the bottom centre, or two are placed in each bottom corner of the picture frarile 13 with the pin(s) 14 inserted into the wall 15 as in Fig 2.

Claims (2)

1 A picture frame support maintains the picture or ornament at the exact position desired, be it level and running flush to the ceiling and floor, or. if required, at a specific angle.
2 A picture frame support can be used more than once as the picture or ornament can be taken off the wall and placed elsewhere.
