Abstract

The invention relates to tunnel kilns. There is provided a tunnel kiln (10) comprising a heating tunnel (24) and a plurality of moving hearths (32) across the width of the tunnel, in which the moving hearths are adapted to convey the ware (44) to be treated through the heating tunnel.
