Abstract

In a dyeing machine, cloth is circulated through circular trough 10, small tubular passage 15, and large tubular passage 100, and dye nozzle 131 connected with passage 15 may be pivoted upwards by pneumatic cylinder 11 so that the cloth runs over roller 12, or may be pivoted downwards so the cloth still runs through ring 14 but not over the roller. Cylinder 11 may pivot a plurality of nozzles.

Description

TITLE: A DYEING MACHINE This invention is related to an improved dyeing machine.
It has been found that the conventional dyeing machine utilizes rollers to convey the cloth. However, the speed of the roller cannot adapt to the travelling speed of the cloth thereby making the cloth twist together and therefore damaging the surface of the cloth. Hence, the inventor has invented two improved dyeing machines without rollers which have been granted U.S. Patent Nos.
5,425,254 and 5,566,599. Nevertheless, for needle bonded fahric, it is preferably to use a roller to move the cloth. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a dyeing machine which can be adjusted to move the cloth with rollers or dyeing liquid as required.
This invention relates an improved dyeing machine.
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide an improved dyeing machine which can be adjusted to move the cloth by means of a roller or dyeing liquid as required.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an improved dyeing machine which can be adapted for use with various kinds of cloth.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide an improved dyeing machine which can evenly and rapidly dye the cloth.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide an improved dyeing machine which is fit for practical use.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an improved dyeing machine which is simple in construction.
The foregoing objects and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numberals refer to identical or similar parts.
FIG. 1 is a side view of the present invention; FIG. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary view of the present invention; and FIG. 3 is a top view illustrating the arrangement of the nozzle holders.
For the purpose of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alterations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.
With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a dyeing machine according to the present invention generally comprises a circular trough 10, a large tubular passage 100, a small tubular passage 15, and a tail portion 300, a pneumatic cylinder 11, a roller 12, a plurality of nozzle holders 13, a guiding ring 14 and an inlet pipe 16. The large tubular passage 100 has an end connected with a lower portion of the circular trough 10. The small tubular passage 15 is located above the large tubular passage 100 and has an end connected wtih the upper portion of the circular trough 10. The tail portion 300 is connected between the other ends of the large and small tubular passages 100 and 15. The pneumatic cylinder 11 is arranged above the circular trough 10 and has a piston rod 111 extending into the circular trough 10 to pivotally connect with a nozzle holder 13 so that the position of the nozzle holder 13 can be adjusted as required. The nozzle holder 13 is provided with a nozzle 131 at one end and a ball valve 132 at the other. The small tubular passage 15 is provided with an inlet end 151 extending into the circular trough 10 and pivotally connected with the ball valve 132 of the nozzle holder 13. The roller 12 is mounted on the circular trough 10, while the guiding ring 14 is arranged within the circular trough 10.
As shown in FIG. 2, the nozzle holder 13 may be rotated to determine whether it is necessary to use the roller 12 to guide the cloth 20 as required.
Referring to FIG. 3, a dyeing liquid inlet 16 is connected to the ball valve 132 of the nozzle holder 13 via a connetor 161 for the passage of fresh dyeing liquid to the nozzle holder 13. Furthermore, the nozzle holders 13 are connected by a linking rod 133 so that the nozzle holders 13 can be moved altogether.
It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.
