Abstract

A catch mechanism for a toilet lid cover, which is mounted on to the top of toilet bowl water extrusion rim (13), a lever arm (9) slides into horozontal mode on top of toilet lid cover (16) and cap tightener (10) is screwed down to enable locking mode to secure toilet cover downwards. To access toilet bowl, captightener is turned to release pressure on lever arm to enable arm to slide back or to turn at ninety degree angle to enable access to toilet bowl. The purpose of the invention is to prevent unauthorized access to infant children.

Description

INVENTION EMBODIMENTS 1. Water extrusion contour section hooks onto inside section of toilet bowl around the water extrusion area. Figs 1,2,3.
2. Manufactured stud foundation moulding to stregnthen stem on to base arm section. Figs 1,2,3,4.
3. Pressure contour to hold catch firmly against outside of toilet bowl. Figs 1,2,3,4.
4. Stem section vertical to height of lever arm section for to enable lever arm to be parallel with top lid service for sliding lever arm to enable lock mode. Figs 1,2,3,4.
5. Moulded surface section on stem to enable lever arm section to slide on top of it, to make lever arm parallel to toilet lid top surface area, and to enable clamping of lever arm. Figs 1,2,3,4.
6. Threaded section of stem for to enable height adjustment of catch to enable lever arm to be parallel with toilet lid top surface, and to attach knob tightener for the locking of lever arm section. Figs 2.
7. Lever arm handle to enable sliding parallel movement to enable locking position of catch, and to slide back to allow access to opening of toilet lid. Figs 1,2,3,4.
8. Lever arm recess to enable the slideing adjustment of catch to allow lever arm to pass through threaded section on vertical stem. Figs 1,2,4.
9. Contact contour to enable pressure point against toilet lid to secure toilet lid downwards against toilet bowl. Figs 1,2,3,4.
10. Cap tightner screws on to threaded section of vertical stem to enable the locking of lever arm, or to release lever arm for to access the toilet lid. Figs 1,2,3,4.
11. Cap rim area section to give base for good contact to flat surface of lever arm to enable locking pressure on contact downwards. Figs 1,2,3,4.
12. Threaded insert to cap tightner to enable the tightning up of cap tightner to threaded section of stem. Fig 2.
13. Toilet bowl water extrusion. Fig 3.

Claims (3)

1. A toilet lid cover catch is for the purpose to prevent infant children from access to the toilet bowl and water within.
2. A toilet lid cover catch is a demountable object for a toilet bowl.
3. A toilet lid cover catch comprising lever arm handle to enable sliding parallel movement to allow locking position of catch to lid cover.
3. A toilet lid cover catch is made from plastic material.
4. A toilet lid cover catch substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows: 1. A toilet lid cover catch a device that locks the toilet lid cover downwards onto toilet bowl section.
2. A toilet lid cover catch comprising a contour hook section that clips onto a toilet bowl extrusion area with pressure contour holding catch firmly against outside of toilet bowl.
