Abstract

A dispenser is installable between a shower head and the water supply of a shower system to dispense hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations etc. into the shower water flow system causing the resulting solution to be delivered through the shower head.

Description

SHOWER DISPENSER [FOR HAIR & BODY TREATMENTS, MEDICATIONS, CLEANSING PREPERATIONS] This invention relates to a shower dispenser, for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations.
Showers are well known and comprise a controllable water supply piped through a nozzle or head to create a spray, stream or jet. Bathing in a shower is common practice and is usually accompanied in its use with hair and body treatments, medications and cleansing preparations, these are often awkward and difficult to use and store, it would therefore be desirable and of more convenience to be able to provide a dispenser for these preparations, as an integral part of, or as an add on installable unit, to a shower system.
According to the present invention there is provided a shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleaning preparations, comprising a main body or the like, one or more replaceable or refillable container/s and / or dispensing chambers, means to control the water flow through and / or divert the water flow around the dispensing chamber or chambers, means to control the dispensed amount into the water flow, means to install the dispenser into the shower system, and / or the dispenser to be an integral but controllable part of the shower assembly where the preparation/s can be replaced or refilled.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 Shows a typical installable shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations.
Figure 2 Shows by example a typical installable shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations installed in a typical shower system.
Referring to the drawing the shower dispenser, for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations, comprises, in the case of an installable shower dispenser, a main body [A] with means to install it into the shower system [D] & [E] means provided or to accept, [on both installable or integral dispenser] replaceable or refillable hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations containers and / or forming dispensing chamber or chambers [B] and means to control the water flow [C] by way of a valve or the like.
In order to facilitate the use of the shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations [In the case other than an integral dispenser.] the flexible shower hose [F] is disconnected from the main shower control housing [G] allowing the installation of the dispenser by means of an inlet [D] and outlet [E] into the shower water flow system.
When the shower is in use, operating a control [C] causes hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations to be dispensed into the water system creating a solution, this solution is delivered through the shower head tH] onto the bather.
The control [C] could return the shower system to clear water or other hair and body treatment, medication, cleansing preparation.

Claims (6)

1. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparation comprising a main body which can be installed into a shower water flow system.
2. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparation as claimed in Claim 1 wherein means are provided to replace or refill the hair and body treatments, medications, cleaning preparations container(s) and/or dispensing chamber(s).
3. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparation as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 wherein means are provided to control the water flow through or around the container(s) and/or dispensing chamber(s).
4. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparation as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 or Claim 3 wherein means are provided to control the dispensable amounts of hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparation into the shower water flow system.
5. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations as claimed in any proceeding claim wherein the dispenser is an integral part of the shower system.
6. A shower dispenser for hair and body treatments, medications, cleansing preparations substantially as described herein with reference to the accompanying drawings.
