Swimming and bathing appliances.-An easily portable swimming-appliance comprises a rod a in detachable sections connected by bayonet joints, and to which are attached a chin rest k, rudder l, and floats b carried by arms so that the distance between the floats is adjustable. The rear section may carry a casing c containing transmission gear of a propeller f driven by pedals g, and a float chamber h with a lid so that the chamber may be used as a receptacle for clothes. In a simpler form, the rod is in two sections, the front section carrying two lateral floats connected by straps forming a chest support and a central float forming a chin-rest. The rear section has an upturned end to aid in holding the appliance in position.
