Abstract

A liner to expand and hold open a bag or sack is formed by inserting projections 8 at one end of a flexible plastic sheet into slots 6 adjacent its other end. The projections 8 slide through the slots 6 until the bag or sack within which the liner has been placed is fully expanded. There are several sets of the slots 6 to cater for various ranges of bag or sack size. After removal of the liner from a filled bag, the projections 8 can be removed from the slots 6 and the sheet allowed to return to a flat state while held against a wall by engaging a slot 7 in the sheet over an eye-headed screw, a rod being fitted through the eye to retain the sheet on the screw.
