Abstract

A language learning aid comprises a pack of cards, each card bearing on one face a passage in one language, a translation of that passage into another language and indicia which form a clue to the meaning of the passage.

Description

CARDS TRANSLATING FOREIGN LANGUAGES WITH DIAGRAMS The invention relates to cards translating foreign languages with diagrams. The cards with diagrams are presented in the form of playing cards covered in a hard clear plastic sheet. The cards are packaged in a cardboard box similar to that of the ordinary presentation of playing cards. In the format of playing cards, the cards serve the purpose of translating foreign languages with diagrams. The cards comprise of wordings bearing the foreign language at the top of the card, a diagram illustrating the meaning of words in the middle of the card, and beneath the diagram, a translation of the words printed in the foreign language is translated into English wordings.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective, the formate of the Cards Translating Foreign Languages With Diagram.
Figure 2 illustrates wordings of the foreign language Figure 3 illustrates a diagram of the translated words Figure 4 shows the English translation together with a full view of the Cards Translating Foreign Language With Diagram.
The Cards Translating Foreign Languages With Diagram are designed as a convenient, quick and easy reference to ascertain useful foreign language translations with diagrams showing the meaning of the translations.

  1. The invention relates to cards translating foreign languages with diagrams. The cards with diagrams are presented in t form of playing cards covered in a hard clear plastic sheet. The cards are packaged in a cardboard box similar to that of the ordinary presentation of playing cards. In the format of playing cards, the cards serve the purpose of translating foreign languages with diagrams. The cards comprise of wordings bearing the foreign language at the top of the card, a diagram illustrating the meaning of words in the middle of the card, and beneath the diagram, a translation of the words printed in the foreign language is translated into English wordings.
