Abstract

A valve for controlling admission of waste water into a container has a flotation arm whereby it is closed when the float is raised to a certain level by the water in the container. The inlet of the valve is connected, in use, to the waste pipe of the wash basin and/or shower of a caravan; the float and arm having been introduced into the container through an orifice in the container wall. The orifice is closeable by a screw cap which will have been removed so that an annular threaded cap-like member around the valve can be fitted in its place to retain the valve in position. The valve can be disengaged by a reversal of these operations to allow the container to be removed for emptying.

Description

FLUWMATE - DESCRIPTION The invention relates to a control valve for waste water.
Caravans etc having a five gallon water container externally to catch water from sink and shower etc.
The Flowmate Valve is an inexpensive way of sealing the waste container to stop the overflow and spillage of soiled water.
The specific facts of the invention are descibed with reference to the accompgnying drawing in which STEP 1 - Show the non return pressure valve inlet STEP 2 - Illustrates by the screw cap the method of connecting the Flowmate to the waste container STEP 3 - Shows the domed float which cuts off the waste water when the container is nearly fulls allowing any excess waste to enter the container. By unscrewing the Flowmate there is still enough room in the container to take any excess.
STEP 4 - The flowtation arm which works the float, thus creating enough pressure to operate the valve.
The Flowmate can accommodate any size of container with the appropriate fixing cap.
