Abstract

A tinned petfood contents extractor includes a handle 7 fixed to a support 5, with a circular frame (3, Fig 1),( 8, Fig 2), mounted on the support. Preferably the circular frame comprise of bars which form hollow spaces (4, Fig 1),( 6 Fig 2) which are fixed cross-section within the inside edge of the circular frame.

Description

TINNED PETFOOD EXTRACTOR The invention relates to a petfood extractor of the type which includes crosssection bars which form hollow sections, mounted within a circular frame which is fixed to a support including a handle.
Such extractors are well known, but suffer from the disadvantage that, they are difficult to use for cutting contents of tinned food by way of depth and quantity, they are also disadvantaged that a repeated cutting action is required to cut or chop the contents to a suitable size.
An object of this invention is to provide a tinned petfood extractor which allows easy cutting and quantity requirements in one manual action.
Accordingly, this invention provides a petfood extractor for tinned food, including a frame of correct diameter with cross-section bars fixed to a support including a handle.
Preferable the extractor is made of metal or plastics material or a combination ofthese materials.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: FIGURE 1 shows a top view ofthe petfood extractor.
FIGURE 2 shows a side view of the whole extractor including the handle, support and frame.
As shown in Fig 1 the extractor shows a circular frame 3 with bars 4 fixed to the inside edge of frame. The bars are arranged so that hollows are formed within the cross-sections.
As shown in Fig 2, the extractor comprises of a handle 7 with a support 5 attached to the top end of handle, attached to the opposite end ofthe support is the circular frame (8 Fig 2) which has a number of cross-section bars (4 Fig 1) (6 Fig 2) which are fixed to the inside edge ofthe frame.
As shown in Fig 1, the cross-section bars provide hollow spaces within the diameter of outer frame 3.
The correct diameter of the frame (3 Fig 1 ) (8 Fig 2 ) allows the extractor to be inserted into the tin, which creates a cutting action as it is pushed down to the required depth of the petfood tins contents. The frame as in Fig 1 can be of different diameters, the cross-section bars 4 Fig 1 within the frame are of a round wire shaped construction which provides a cutting action.
Figure 2 shows the handle 7, which is of a suitable shape to provide a firm grip, to assist the pushing and rotating action, which allows the contents of the tin to be cut and extracted at the required depth.
