SPECIFICATION MULTIMEDIA TOWER AND BOOTH BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a multimedia tower and booth in an isolated state for exchanging, treating and processing various technical and economical business information with another person distant therefrom.
To exchange, to treat and to business information, it is necessary to is process various provide multikinds of information processing means, power supply means and information transmission means. Therefore, in order to proceed with required operation, it is necessary for an operator to go to a place where required means or device is located and to go about a plurality of places, which involves low efficiency. Such unisolated circumstance distracts the operator or gives him noise, thereby making the working difficult, SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
To overcome the disadvantages, the object of the present invention is to provide a multimedia tower in which the foregoing means are collected to a single place, the tower being located in an office, a shop or a suitable place in a town, and to provide a multimedia booth in which the multimedia tower is surrounded by a partition.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a multimedia tower which comprises:
a housing; power supply means in the housing for supplying electric power to information processing means necessary to process business information; and information transmission means in the housing.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a multimedia booth which comprises a multimedia tower and a partition which is provided to sides of the multimedia tower, the multi-media tower comprising:
a housing; power supply means in the housing for supplying electric power to information processing means necessary to process business information; and information transmission means in the housing.
An operator efficiently processes various kinds of information which includes multimedia information.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following description with respect to embodiments based on the accompanying drawings wherein:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view which shows one emodiment of a multimedia booth which contains a multimedia tower according to the present invention; Fig. 2 is a top plan view which shows the multimedia booth in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a perspective view of another embodiment of a multimedia booth according to the present invention; and Fig. 4 is a perspective view of further embodiment of a multimedia booth according to the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Figs. 1 and 2 illustrate an embodiment of a multimedia booth according to the present invention, wherein a standing person operates. "A" denotes a multimedia tower which is a main portion of the multimedia booth.
At the rear end of a foot plate 1, a high small housing 2 is provided. A table plate 3 is projected in the middle of the front face of the housing 2. At the upper end of the housing 2, a curved cover plate 4 is provided, and a lamp 5 is mounted on the lower surface of the cover plate 4. In the housing 2, a plurality of shelf plates 6 are provided, and the following means are provided on suitable positions of the shelf plates 6. The numerals are assigned to only what figures in the followings: Information Processinn Means are shown in the a computer 7; a display 8; a video camera 9; a recording/playback device 10; a video-tape recording/playback device 11, etc.
Information Transmission Means a teleDhone 12: wire communication means; wireless communication means (including a radio 13 and a television 14), optical transmission means, etc.
Power Supply Means a power source; a switch 15; switchboard, etc.
Environment Rexulating Means a lighting; a speaker 17; temperature regulating means 18; moisture regulating means 19; air blowing means 20; air suction means 21; ventilating means 22, etc.
The information processing means may be partially disposed outside the housing 2.
At each side of the housing 2, a partition 23 in which a plurality of elongate unit plates 23a are bendably connected is detachably connected, and the sides of the table plate 3 are surrounded by the partition 23.
Fig. 3 illustrates a multimedia booth according to the present invention for operating in a half-standing posture. One end of the partition 23 is extended in front of the table plate 3 in Figs. 1 and 2, and a stool 24 is provided inside the partition 23. The front end of a foot 25 of the stool 24 is connected to a foot plate 1 of the multimedia tower "A". In the roughly circled booth, the operator can comfortably work in a half-standing posture for a long time.
Fig. 4 illustrates a larger working area multimedia booth according to the present invention, when the larger working area is required to use a portable computer and other equipments so as to prepare and to review connecting implements; a drawings.
Basically, it is similar to what is shown in Figs. 1 and 2. But the table plate 3 is bigger and is fixed to the. partition 23 by mounting brackets 26 at the circumference.

Claims (26)

  1. WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
    A multimedia tower which comprises: a housing; power supply means in the housing to supply electric power to information processing means necessary to process business information; and information transmission means in the housing.
  2. 2. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein the information processing means are provided in the housing.
  3. 3. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein the information processing means include information modifying means.
  4. 4. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein the information processing means include any of a computer, a display, a video camera, a recording/playback device and a video tape recording/playback device.
  5. 5. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein the information transmission means include any of a telephone, wire communicating means, wireless communicating means and optical transmission means.
  6. 6. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein the power supply means include any of a power source, a switch and connecting implements.
  7. 7. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 1 wherein environment regulating means are contained in the housing.
  8. 8. The multimedia tower as defined in claim 7 wherein the environment regulating means include any of a lighting, a speaker, temperature regulating moisture regulating means, air blowing means, air means and ventilating means.

  9. 9. A multimedia booth which comprises a multimedia tower and a partition which is provided to sides of the multimedia tower, the multimedia tower comprising:
    a housing; power supply means for supplying electric power to information processing means necessary to process business information; and information transmission means in the housing.
  10. 10. The multimedia booth as defined in claimA wherein the information processing means are provided in the housing.
  11. 11. The multimedia booth as defined in claim 9 wherein the information processing means include information modifying means.
  12. 12. The multimedia booth as defined in claim 9 wherein the information processing means include any of a computer, a display, a video camera, a recording/playback device and a video tape recording/playback device.
  13. 13. The multimedia booth as defined in claim 9 wherein the information transmission means include any of a telephone, wire communicating means, wireless communicating means and optical transmission means.
  14. 14. The multimedia booth as defined in claim 9 wherein the power supply means include any of a power source, a switch and connecting implements.

  20. 20. The multimedia booth as defined in claim 9 wherein a foot plate is fixed at a lower end of the multi-media tower.
