Hydraulic transmision apparatus. - In a hydraulic drive for locomotives, comprising primary and secondary pumps c, d, Fig. 1, arranged as described in Specification 157,156, one or more auxiliary secondary pumps d<1> are provided, which run in the same direction as the pumps d, and are driven by the primary pump when a valve e, Fig. 3, is placed in the position shown.
