Abstract

A device for handling loose fill foam packing particles comprises a fan assembly (10) having inlet and outlet ports (11, 12) connected to elongate flexible inlet and outlet tubes (13, 14) respectively. A centrifugal fan inside the fan assembly (10) induces a flow of air through the device by means of the venturi effect. The flexible inlet and outlet tubes (13, 14) allow the device to be used either for filling or emptying a container of the foam packing particles.
