Abstract

A magnetised number plate that complies to DVLA specifications may be used with any vehicle. Designed for use with trailers to articulated vehicles to facilitate number plate exchange, the plate is suitably made of a flexible material, to minimise damage through re-use.

Description

MAGNETICALLY RETAINED NUMBER PLATE This invention relates to magnetic number slates designed to be easily removed and re-used bv articulated lorry trailers or similar vehicles requiring this facility.
Articulated lorry trailers are towed by different vehicles, all with different number elates.
This means that at each change, the trailer number plate must be exchanged to match the towing vehicle.
Plastic number plates are brittle and easily broken.
Retaining brackets are regularly damaged in use and fail to secure the plates.
According to the present invention, there is provided a magnetised number plate which comPlies to DVLA specifications.
This is self-retentive to the metal parts of the trailer or vehicle.
Flexibility of the material makes it not easily damaged with re-use.

1. A magnetised number plate that complies to DVLA specifications.
2. Magnetic property allows secure fixation to all metal parts of a vehicle or trailer.
