Abstract

The towel is conical and fits inside a corresponding conical waterproof cover. Both towel and cover have matching holes for attachment to a golf bag. <IMAGE>

Description

Golf towel with protective cover This invention relates to a golf towel with a protective cover.
Golf towels are used by golfers, their caddies and others for cleaning and drying golf equipment, such as clubs and balls.
Golf towels are usually rectangular, and incorporate an eyelet so that they can be attached to a golf bag.
In the course of use, a golf towel may become soiled and damp. In rain, it becomes wet and ineffective for drying, say, the rubber grip on a golf club.
The present invention of a conical golf towel, that fits into a conical water-proof protective cover ensures that the golf towel is protected from rain, while providing the optimum shape for drying and cleaning golf club heads, grips and golf balls.
In addition, the cover acts as a barrier, so that a soiled and/or damp towel cannot make contact with clothing, car upholstery or furniture.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of an example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. I Shows the cone-shaped golf towel.
FIG. 2 Shows the cone-shaped protective cover.
FIG. 3 Shows the towel inside the protective cover.
To use the conical golf towel in its matching protective cover, the former is inserted into the latter, so that they can be attached together to a golf bag.

Claims (3)

Claims
1. A cone-shaped golf-towel is one part of a two-part item; the second part being a cone-shaped, waterproof cover into which the golf-towel can be inserted. Both parts have matching holes in their fabric so that they can be attached, together, to a golf-bag.
2. A cone-shaped golf-towel that may be attached to a golf-bag and used for cleaning golfing equipment, without the addition of the protective, waterproof cover as described in Claim 1.
3. A cone-shaped, protective, waterproof cover into which a golf-towel can be inserted so that both can be attached to a golf-bag.
