Manure distributors.-In a machine in which a distributing drum surrounds the bottom of the fertilizer box, the bottom is formed of cylindrically bent sheet metal pieces and the drum is made up of a number of crowns or discs provided with fingers and is carried by tiltable supports adapted to be locked in the operative position. The distributing crowns K are mounted on a square shaft B driven from the travelling wheels by spur gearing. They are provided with helically bent fingers k<1> and are arranged in pairs with the fingers of the one projecting towards the other. The bottom of the box A is stroked by the fingers k<1> and consists of semicylindrical plates M carried by supporting pieces m<l> loosely mounted on the cylindrical hubs of the crowns K. Rotation of the plates M is prevented by projections n<1> on ribs N engaging with the box A. The squared shaft B is mounted in pivoted cheeks 0 connected by a cross-bar O<1> on which is adjustably mounted the part P for determining the width of the distributing gaps a<2>. This part is turned about the bar O<1> by a lever p<1> and is fixed by U-bolts p<2>. The cheeks O are fixed in the operative position by bolts O<2>. For cleaning purposes the cheeks 0 are turned down by means of the lever p<1> into the position indicated.
