Abstract

A mobile telephone 1 has a built-in or detachable voice recorder. The recorder may be in the form of a micro cassette tape recorder or may use magnetic discs, optical discs, such as a writable CD, or a memory chip. The recorder may record through the phone's microphone and replay through the phone's speaker and may be used as a day to day dictator diary. The recorder may also record telephone conversations and may have an automatic telephone answering and message recording function. The LCD screen of the phone will display the date, time and number of messages that have been recorded. A built-in timer may trigger sending a message from the combined phone and recorder. <IMAGE>

Description

Invention for Combined Mobile Phone/Micro tape recorder Whilst the idea of the combined mobile phone/micro tape racorder is still in the embryonic stage of development. I can only at this moment write about the novelty and the concept of the idea.
Advantages of the Combined Mobile Phone/Micro tace recorder The idea is based on any ordinary mobile phone. of which comprises of a built-in. or det@chable micro tape : e@@rder. (ie) CMP/MTR is incorporated into the side bottom or at the back of the mobile phone. or ather-wise.
1. The CMP/MTR saves time and resour@es by simply recording information instead of writing it down.
2. The CMP/MTR may also be used as a da) to day dictator diary by using the tape recorder to record any important events.
3. This product could also be used to record telephone conversations and automatically receive and record message.
This would also come in useful for business people who are able to liaise and record any important information at an place, anywhere without any inconvenience.
5. If the mobile phone is not in use or being recharged the micro tape recorder can be automatically activated to record a message.
6. The mobile phone screen will display the date. time and also how many message have being recorded/received. When using the funotion buttons for the tape recorder the play.
record symbols et@. will also be displayed on the @@@een.
7. When messages have beer receiver on the phone # they may be searched through either automatically or manually and then deleted after use.
8. The micro tape recorder could also use micro magnetic tapes. magnetic discs. optical disc. writable CD. memory chip or micro chip.
9. kiso the new devire would have a built in timer that can trigger off sending a message from the CMP/MTR to another node on the telecommunications networks and systems.
The CMP/MTR will be battery powered with a built in battery indicator. The mobile phone will be slim and compact.
(MEasurements approx; 190mm x 40mm and weight appros; 475g).
The LCD screen display will show a 24 hour time and date indication. The phone will also feature 25 number name d address memory. an automatic answer and message record facility.
also an on screen calendar and an automatic standby.
The micro tape recorder will use the voice microphone form the mobile phone for taping speech whilst in use. Also when playing back messages. a volume control may assist you to hear from the mobile phone receiver.
Features including ore touch recording. pause control. auto reverse. digital tape counter. record indicator. microphone s@cket and volume control. For privacy and safety the CMP/MTR will have a password access to prevent unauthorised use.

Claims (2)

1.The idea is based upon using a modern manufactured digital/analog mobile communications unit, and a built-in or detachable micro tape recorder. (ie) The Micro Tape Recorder cassette housing or otherwise can/could be incorporated into the side/bottom inlet/insert, or at the back inserted, flip motion, or sliding open and shut of the CMP/MTR.
2. A combined Mobile Phone/Micro Tape Recorder as claimed in claim one comprising of an outer casing (which houses the components of a mobile phone, a micro tape recorder and an answering machine). Also comprising a speaker, ear receiver, microphone, numerical key pad. antenna, liquid crystal display, function keys, micro cassette function keys, instant record button, micro cassette tape housing or otherwise.
