Abstract

A random number generator comprises a clear plastic reservoir 1 containing a plurality of balls 4 bearing indicia, the reservoir being provided with a clear plastic side tube 2 which is dimensioned to hold a small number of the balls from the reservoir. The whole device is provided with a fitting 3 to enable it to be releasably attached to a pen. <IMAGE>

THESE DEVICES ARE USUALLY, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL OR COMPUTER OPERATED AND RELATIVLEY EXPENSIVE AND TO CUMBERSOME TO BE USED BY THE INDIVIDUAL.
ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION THERE IS A HAND HELD DEVICE THAT FITS TO A REPLACEABLE BALLPOINT PEN AND WHEN THIS IS HELD UPSIDE DOWN AND SHAKEN, WHEN IT IS RETURNED TO THE UPRIGHT POSITION IT AUTOMATICALLY SELECTS A SERIES OF SIX NUMBERS.
A SPECIFIC EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION WILL NOW BE DESCRIBED BY WAY OF EXAMPLE, WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS IN WHICH FIGURE ONE SHOWS THE SELECTOR AND FIGURE TWO SHOWS THE SELECTOR CONNECTED TO A REPLACEABLE BALLPOINT PEN.
