Abstract

A waste container comprising an opening for entry of waste into the container, the opening being closeable by at least one door (14), which is hinged on one side of the opening, each hinge comprising a hinge bar (32) which passes through a plurality of spaced hinge blocks (34) of the door (14), and a hinge cover (36) over substantially the entire length of the hinge bar (32). The hinge cover (36) helps prevent jamming, weathering and breakage of the hinge blocks (34). <IMAGE>
