Abstract

Transfer apparatus for transferring objects from a first location to a second location includes a transfer device (1) adapted to be coupled to a lifting device (19). The transfer device (1) comprises an outer structure (21, 24) which defines an inner space in which an object (10, 12) to be transferred may be located and securing means (14, 9, 30) is provided to secure the object (10, 12) to the transfer device (1) during transfer. <IMAGE>
