Abstract

The invention concerns a communication system for a modular telecommunications system, in which the operational units, or modules, of the telecommunications system are interconnected by means of a serial bus (3) to maintain communication with the different parts (1, 2) of the system. According to the invention, the serial bus is configured so that each module can be assigned to a read and/or write operation performed on different hardware and software levels. <IMAGE>
