Abstract

226,947. Iddon, N., and Diamond Patents, Ltd. Nov. 30, 1923. Trouser-presses.-The transverse metal bands 3 of a trouser-press are provided at their ends with separate C-shaped discs 7 having C-shaped flanges 8 and slots 7a coinciding with the usual slots 6 in the ends of the bands 3. The flanges 8 prevent the bosses 4a of the usual wing- nuts from slipping outwardly after they have been screwed down. The pressure bolts 5 are pivoted on pins 15 retained on the base-board by curved plates 16. The cuff portion of the trousers is pressed by a separate small upper board 10 to which pressure is applied by spring clips 13 pivoted to the base board.
