Abstract

A multifunctional water boiling and steaming device wherein the steam produced when boiling the water in a heating chamber (12) is guided by a resisting tube (4) into a steam chamber (3) to heat food contained therein and wherein the boiled water flows through a cooling tube (5) and is cooled therein into warm water, the cooling tube (5) being disposed in the steam chamber (3) to conduct the heat to the steam chamber (3) to warm the same, whereby the heat of the steam and the boiled water can be recovered and utilized. <IMAGE>

Description

A COMBINED WATER BOILING AND HEATING DEVICE The present invention relates to a multifunctional water boiling and steam warming device, wherein the steam produced when boiling the water is guided by a steam tube into a steam chamber and the heat of the boiled water is conducted into the steam chamber during a cooling procedure whereby the heat can be recovered and utilized to warm food contained therein.

Conventional water boiling and warming devices are widely used. However, during the boiling and cooling procedure, a large amount of heat is dissipated into the air. Therefore, a water boiling and warming device which can recover and utilize the heat is needed.

It is therefore considered advantageous in the present invention to provide a multifunctional water boiling and steam warming device wherein a boiled water tank is partitioned by a metal plate into a heating chamber and a warming chamber whereby the heat in the heating chamber can be conducted through the metal plate into the warming chamber to keep the water contained therein at a high temperature.

It is also considered advantageous in the present invention to provide a device in which the steam produced from the boiling water is guided by a steam tube into a steam chamber so as to recover the heat of the steam and use the heat to heat food contained in the steam chamber.

It is also considered advantageous in the present invention to provide a device in which a cooling tube is disposed in the steam chamber whereby the heat of the boiled water is conducted to the steam chamber during the cooling procedure to warm the food contained therein. Preferred embodiments of the present invention will now be described in detail, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of this invention; and Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view thereof.

With reference to Figures 1 and 2, the present invention includes a boiling water tank 1, a warm water tank 2, a steam chamber 3, a steam tube 4 and a cooling tube 5, wherein the boiling water tank 1 and warm water tank 2 are disposed above the steam chamber 3 and the boiling water tank 1 is partitioned by a U-shaped metal plate 11 into a boiled water heating chamber 12 and a boiled water warming chamber 13. The heat in the heating chamber 12 can be conducted through the metal plate 11 into the warming chamber 13 to keep the water contained in the warming chamber 13 at a high temperature. A heater 14 is disposed in the heating chamber 12 to heat and boil the water in the heating chamber 12 and a water temperature controller 15 is disposed beside the heating chamber 12 to ensure that the water has actually boiled before heating is stopped.A boiled water conduit 121 is connected to the heating chamber 12 so that the boiled water can flow from the heating chamber 12. A controlling valve 72 is disposed on the conduit 121 whereby after the water is boiled, the valve 72 is opened, permitting the boiled water to flow out. One end of the conduit 121 is connected to the cooling tube 5. One end of the cooling tube 5 is disposed in the warming chamber 13 and the other end thereof is disposed in the warm water tank 2 whereby when the controlling valve 72 is opened, the boiled water flows into the warming chamber 13 and the warm water tank 2. The cooling tube 5 is windingly disposed in the steam chamber 3 to cool the boiled water and conduct the heat of the boiled water into the steam chamber 3 to produce a warming effect.A boiled water outlet valve 131 is disposed at the bottom of the warming chamber 13 to control the discharge of the boiled water. A warm water outlet valve 21 is disposed at the bottom of the warm water tank 2 to control the discharge of the warm water. Two water level meters 16 are located in the heating chamber 12 and warming chamber 13 for the user to observe the water level.

The steam tube 4 has one end located above the boiled water tank 1 and is windingly disposed in the steam chamber 3. The other end of the steam tube is horizontal in use and is formed with multiple steam outlets 41 facing upward. The steam in the boiled water tank 1 is guided through the steam tube 4 and discharged from the steam outlets 41 into the steam chamber 3 and creates a convection effect to heat food by means of the heat of the steam.

The steam chamber 3 has a plane top stage 31 for placing a cup or the like thereon. The top stage 31 is connected with a draining pipe 32 to drain the water in the stage 31. Moreover, when the amount of steam in the steam chamber 3 is increased and the pressure therein is increased, so that the steam can not discharge properly, the draining pipe 32 permits the steam to discharge therethrough to ensure safety. Another draining pipe 33 is disposed at the bottom of the steam chamber 3 to drain the water formed by condensed steam and the water discharged from the draining pipe 32. A temperature controller 34 is disposed beside the steam chamber 3 to control the temperature therein to reach a predetermined value. Several article supports 35 are disposed in the steam chamber 3 for placing food thereon to be heated or warmed.

When used, the water is first filtered by a filter 6 and then is controlled by the controlling valve 71 to flow from the top of the boiled water tank 1 into the heating chamber 12 to be heated by a given amount and for a given time. When the water is boiling, the controlling valve 72 is opened, permitting the boiled water to flow into the warming chamber 13 and the warm water tank 2 and is stored therein. When the boiled water flows through the cooling tube 5, the heat thereof is conducted into the warm water tank 2 for keeping the water contained therein warm. In addition, the steam produced when boiling the water in the boiled water tank 1 will be guided by the steam tube 4 to flow into the steam chamber 3 to create a convection effect to heat food placed therein.

Claims (3)

1. A combined water boiling and heating device comprising: a water heating chamber, a food heating chamber, and means for heating water in the water heating chamber, wherein the device further comprises means for transferring steam produced in the water heating chamber to the food heating chamber to produce a heating effect therein, and means for transferring heat from the heated water to the food heating chamber to produce a heating effect therein.
2. A combined water boiling and heating device according to Claim 1 wherein the means for transferring steam comprises a first tube means and the means for transferring heat from the heated water comprises a second tube means.

A combined water boiling and heating device comprising a boiled water tank, a warm water tank, a steam chamber, a steam tube and a cooling tube, characterised in that said boiled water tank and warm water tank are disposed above the steam chamber and said boiled water tank is partitioned by a U-shaped metal plate into a heating chamber and a warming chamber, whereby the boiled water flows through and out of a boiled water conduit disposed in said heating chamber and is controlled by a controlling valve disposed on said conduit, and when said controlling valve is opened, the boiled water flows through said cooling tube connecting with said conduit into said warming chamber and warm water tank and stored therein, one end opening of said resisting tube being disposed at the top of said boiled water tank, said steam tube being windingly disposed in said steam chamber, an end horizontal portion of said steam tube being formed with multiple steam outlets facing upward, whereby the steam in said boiled water tank is guided by said steam tube into said steam chamber to heat food contained therein, said warming chamber and said warm water tank being connected by said cooling tube which is windingly disposed in said steaming chamber whereby the heat of the boiled water during cooling procedure will be dissipated to warm food contained in said steam chamber.
