Abstract

A fine mesh fabric, optionally treated for flame retardancy, is still soft, and elastic and allows good ventilation when used over a wadding, and complies with the D.T.I. regulations for upholstered articles. It is especially suited for babies and children's bedding where flame retardancy is demanded but ventilation is needed, and the tog rating is an important factor. Some or all of the above properties make this an ideal fabric for other uses needing similar requirements.
