Road-vehicle signals; semaphore signals.-A translucent envelope 2 in the form of a hand is pivoted on a vertical fulcrum pin 6 approximately in the plane of the hand, and is swung outwardly from a casing 1 by means of cable attached to a swivelling head 7. Stops 10, 11 are provided, and the stop 10 also serves as an electric contact for lighting the lamp 3 in the operative position.
