225,613. Hancock, J. S. Sept. 3, 1923. Patent abandoned on opposition. Slabs; metal-skeleton slabs. - Asbestos-cement sheets, pipes, and the like are reinforced with interlaced wires 2, usually in the form of wire netting. The sheets 1 may be corrugated, in which case the wires are soft so that they are deformable readily. The wires are positioned, preferably, about two-thirds of the thickness of the sheet from the faced surface. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4632/94 15795/04, 13531A/06, 3372/07, 12126/09, 18482/11, 17106/12, 6256/13, and 8241/13.
