Description

TITLE: NURSING BOTTLE The present invention relates to nursing bottles, in particular to those which the container thereof bends slightly downwards, wherein the middle portion thereof is concavo-concave and has an elliptic hole.
A conventional nursing bottle normally comprises a cylindrical container, a nipple, and a cap. There are certain disadvantages when used with an infant. While nursing an infant, the container must be inclined to some extent. As the milk in the container decreases, the inclination of the container must be increased to keep the milk flowing mellifuously. Sometimes mothers let babies lie in bed and hold the container by themselves (as shown in Fig. 6). But usually an infant cannot hold the container stably on this occasion. As the milk decreases, an infant cannot afford to change the inclination of the container, thereby causing the nipple be folded and hindering the nursing of the child.
It is the purpose of-this present invention, therefore, to mitigate and/or obviate the above-mentioned drawbacks in the manner set forth in the detailed description of the preferred embodiment.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a nursing bottle mainly comprising a container which bends slightly downwards and has a mouthpiece on the upper portion, wherein the middle portion is concavo-concave and has an elliptic hole, such that said nursing bottle is favorable in aiding an infant to suck the milk and to hold the bottle conveniently.
These and additional objects, if not set forth specifically herein, will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art from the detailed description provided hereunder, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a nursing bottle in accordance with the present invention; Fig. 2 is a side elevational view thereof; Figs. 3 and 4 show the nursing bottle of the present invention in use; Fig. 5 is a front elevational view of an another embodiment in accordance with the present invention; and Fig. 6 shows an embodiment of a conventional nursing bottle in accordance with prior art.
Referring to Figs. 1 and 2, a nursing bottle -according-to the-present invention comprises a container 1 having a mouthpiece on the upper portion 11 and an elliptic hole 12 in the middle portion 13, and a nipple 2 and cap 3 mounted on the mouthpiece. The container 1 bends slightly to the front in accordance with the axial direction of hole 12. The preferred arc of the container 1 is 200 to 250. Thus, while nursing an infant, the milk will flow mellifluously. The middle portion 13 nearby the hole 12 is concavo-concave to enable easy grasping of the container 1. The diameter of the middle portion 13 is sufficiently large to avail the cleaning of the container 1.
Referring to Fig. 3, when an infant holds the middle portion 13 of the nursing bottle by itself, the infant can easily suck the milk in the container 1.
Referred to Fig. 4, a mother can nurse an infant by holding the nursing bottle parallel to the body of the infant, without the need of moving the bottle as the milk decreases.
An another embodiment is shown in Fig. 5, where the container 1 bends slightly downwards to the right side. A baby merely holds one side of the middle portion 13 with the nipple 2 toward itself to suck the milk conveniently.
While the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that various modifications thereof will be apparent-to those skilled-in the--art upon reading this specification. Thereforey it is-to be understood that the invention disclosed herein is intended to cover all such modifications as fall within the scope of the appended claims.
