Abstract
The bottle comforter is used for feeding of babies and young children. It is convenient for holding it in all feeding positions of feeding the baby by a parent or when the baby holds it in a lying, sitting or prone position. Due to the fact that the axes intersecting the centres of the diameters of the basic body and the neck of the bottle are parallel and at two different levels, the milk always fills the neck and the nipple of the bottle. The part of its wall connecting the basic body without the neck is inclined. The milk or the liquid food runs down from the higher level in which the basic body is into the neck at a lower level. This enables the baby to feed evenly and continuously thus reducing any danger of any air intake into his/her stomach which may cause colica or bring about poor digestion. 4 claims, 12 figures
