Strutting. - E xpanding trench struts of the type having a central sleeve coacting with reversed screwed ends b and in which protecting sleeves c are used for the screws, are provided with stop rings d placed on the ends of the central sleeve to coact with fixed stops e in the protecting sleeves, to limit expansion. The ends of the struts are shaped to rest on the tops of the walings.
