DESCRIPTION
F This invention relates to a dishwasher machine designed, namely, to pieces of small sizes, such as glasses, cups, small spoons, saucers and similar. said machine offering several and important practical advantages with regard to all the embodiments known on the market for above aim. Several types of this kind of machine has been developed, on the ground over all of the same constructive and functional principle, but all the usual embodiments offer drawbacks, in particular because of a poor potential of the washing and rinsing liquid, complicated means for ducting and draining and the rest. The dishwasher 'machine according to the invention comprises a parallelepipedal box comprising a parallelepipedal box provided with the proper drive and control means and possessing an access opening combined with a door to introduce the cleaning solution and to place and extract the small dishes (glasses, cups and the rest) with the assistance of a related basket, that slides on appropriate guides, the same general box having an electric inlet, a water inlet from the mains, an inlet for the rinsing product and a mouth or drain tube, the inside of said box being divided into two compartments by a cross wall that, at the same time, acts as a bottom of liquid collector basin, in the lower compartment there being provided heating boiler, and electrovalve inserted between it and the water inlet from the mains, a distributor of the rinsing product, a motor pump and the drain tube, while in the higher compartment are housed all the elements for projecting the liquid for the washing and rinsing operations. An embodiment of the invention will now be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:- 2 In the drawings, a dishwasher machine comprises a parallelepipedal box 1, with a front opening 2, closable by a door 3, hinged in the lower edge of said opening 2. At the top and arranged in an inclined panel, there are pilot lamps 4, a button 5 for starting the machine and another button 6 for programming purposes. The inside of the box 1 is divided into two compartments by a horizontal wall 7, of which compartments the lower or smaller one 8 is occupied by a boiler 9. an electrovalve 10 which connects said boiler 9 to a water inlet 11, a doser 12 for the rinsing product, a motor/pumplassembly 13 and the draining outlet 14. In the higher and larger compartment 15 there is a duct communicating with the boiler 9 and divided into two lengths 16 and 17, the first one connected to a tubular central column 17 provided with a horizontal rotary spraying tube 18, with nozzles 19 directed upwardly. Said tube 18 is arranged in such a way that it acts as a water-flow meter. The remaining duct 17 is linked to other tubes 20, also provided with spraying nozzles 19, which are, in this case, fixed and are located near the compartment ceiling, with their mentioned nozzles 19 directed downwardly (Fig 3 and 4). Inside the higher compartment 15 there is a filter or passage grid 21, an overflow tube 22 and a rear distributor duct 23. communicating with some parallel tubes 24 supporting several nozzles 25 of the type visible in detail in Fig 6. Said tubes 24 terminate in obliquely directed ends 26 (Fig 3) in order that their related nozzles 25 deliver the liquid under pressure toward the centre of the compartment, where there are located the pieces to wash. Considering Fig 2, it can be seen that the tubes 24 start from the distributor located in the rear area of the machine and lie parallel to each other and under the water flow meter 18 and run toward the front face of the box 1, near whose wall come the ends provided with mentioned inclined nozzles.
1 i i 1 i 1 1 i 3 The middle wall or bottom 7 constitutes a basin which acts as a liquid collector, on which there is a heating electric resistor 27. Inside the box 1 and not visible in the drawing, there are mounted the following devices: a pressostat with its remote sensible element in contact with the liquid contained in the basin delimited by the bottom 7; a programmer to execute all the operations, required for this machine; some thermostats connected to the general circuit, this latter possessing a distribution grid, where there arrive the conductors of the push-buttons and pilots lamps 4-5-6 and the rest of the feeding equipment. The door 3 is hinged up to the middle of said machine 1. It is provided with guides or rails 28, aligned with other internal ones 29 for the basket are placed the pieces 31 to wash (glasses and similar). The liquid impelling means is formed, as stated above, by a motor combined with a pump 13, coupled to the former to constitute the motor pump assembly 13 (Fig 8 and 9). The spraying nozzles 25 installed at the lower part of the machine deserve a special attention. Said nozzles are composed (Fig 6) of a bushing 32, with double external thread and with a faceted crown 33, and there appears inside a middle wall 34 provided with two small windows 35 and a small central hole 36, the former having two helically biased edges, those of one window opposite to those of the contiguous one. The bushing is completed by a threaded capsule 37, with a central hole 38 of a larger diameter than the hole 36. This arrangement allows the liquid that goes out through said nozzle to sustain, because of its forced passage through the central hole 36 and because of the helicoidal turbulence of the rest of the liquid crossing the small windows, a throttling that produces a decrease of the spout section with an increase of its power, which preserves up to a great distance its evenness, without expanding, thus ensuring that the projection f 11 4 reaches the bottom of the glasses and provokes in it an effective washing action. As for the machine general operation it suffices to only state that its starting with the push-button 5 determines the motor/pump 13 operation, which is signalled by related pilot lamps 94) of the three this machine possesses. The water from the mains comes in through inlet 11 and goes to the boiler 9, where it is heated and it goes out from there through the ducts 16 and 17, the first one delivering the water to the rotary tube or lower water-flow meter 18, which moves independently and throws with force the water upwardly through its nozzles 19, and at the same time the water from the higher part being projected downwardly from the nozzles 19 of the higher tubes 20, fed by ducts 17. The liquid so projected falls down the bottom 7 and from this moment the pieces (glasses 31 or similar) are introduced into the machine. The maximum level the liquid reaches in the basin, determined by the bottom or wall 7 is settled by the overflow 22. When said liquid achieves the temperature set (provided by the submerged resistor 37, another of the pilot lamps 4 is lit the gate 3 opens and the cleaning solution required is poured by hand inside the machine. Once the pieces in the basket 30 this latter is introduced with its load and the machine begins to operate, thus the motor pump 13 sucks away through the filter 21, the water and the cleaning solution of the basin 7 and sends it to the water-flow meter 18, to the higher ducts 20 and, through the rear distributor 23, to the tubes 24, the liquid under pressure that acts effectively on the pieces to wash going out so through the nozzles 19 and 25. The nozzles 25 located at the ends 26 direct obliquely the upward spouts. While the nozzles 19 spread the liquid, the nozzles 25 are of a compact spout, reaching powerfully the farthest points of the glasses and the rest.
i I i i 1 i i i i i 1 i i gate 3 opens and the cleaning solution required is poured by hand inside the machine. once the pieces in the basket 30 this latter is introdced with its load and the machine begins to operate, thus the motor pump 13 sucks away through the filter 21, the water and the cleaning solution of the basin 7 and sends it to the water-flow meter 18, to the higher ducts 20 and, through the rear distributor 23, to the tubes 24, the liquid under pressure that acts effectively on the pieces to wash going out so through the nozzles 19 and 25. The nozzles 25 located at the ends 26 direct obliquely the upward spouts. While the nozzles 19 spread the liquid, the nozzles 25 are of a compact spout, reaching powerfully the farthest points of the glasses and the rest. once the washing with water and cleaning solution is over, the delivery to the nozzle 25 is stopped and also the water flow meter 18 and delivery to the higher ducts 20 is again started, the rinsing product from the tank 12 passing to those tubes. With this operation the process is over. The washing water is drained through the drain 14. It must be pointed out that mentioned phases depend on the related program and the process is carried out with the performance of all the remaining conventional elements that were not disclosed and whose action is deduced by the above stated.
