Abstract

A device for aiding the sewing together of knitted fabric in a seam, comprises an elongated block (1) having a generally inverted V-shaped upper surface (2) and pins (5) selectively engageable in holes formed along opposite sides of the ridge (3) of the upper surface. The pins (5) engage through the fabric adjacent edges (7a) to be sewn together so that the edges are located in juxtaposed relation at the ridge of the surface. Thereafter, the edges may be readily sewn together in a seam, if necessary, progressively removing the pins (5) as the sewing progresses along the ridge. The block (1) may be constructed so as to be flexible or bendable so as to accommodate curved edges to be sewn together.
