Tyre and like valves.-A tube b, which may be of rubber, is secured to the wall a of a football bladder, air cushion, pneumatic tyre or the like, and is closed at its inner end by a thinner portion c which is perforated at d. The side walls of the part c are pressed against the wall of the tube b by internal pressure to close the openings d, and when air pressure is externally applied, the part c is defected into the position shown dotted and the openings d are freed. The valve may carry a screwed metal tube f when employed on a pneumatic tyre.
