Abstract

An adhesive bag comprises a lower wall 212, Fig 9, an upper wall 218 adhered or welded to the lower wall to form an opening 221 therebetween, and an adhesive layer 224 formed on the outer surface of said lower wall, said upper wall having a part 219 projecting beyond the lower wall at the opening. The bag may further comprise an adhesive layer 216 formed on the lower surface of the projecting part, the adhesive layers 224, 216 being covered by peel-off backing sheets 226, 214A. The adhesive layers are both for sealing the opening and attaching the bag to an article. In a modification, Fig 17, the contents of the bag are inserted through a slit 323 in the lower wall 312. The bag is opened by removal of a portion of the upper wall defined by perforations 220 or 320. Processes and apparatus are disclosed (Figs 5-7 and 11, not shown) in which the bag is formed by laminating. <IMAGE>

Description

ADHESIVE BAG The present invention relates to a sticking bag and, more
particularly, to a sticking bag, having a bagging portion, stuck to goods to be delivered.
This kind of sticking bag is disclosed by Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 50-17356. According to the disclosure, the sticking bag has a sticking adhesive layer formed on the lower surface thereof.
An article accommodated in the known bag tends to slip out of the bag because the bagging portion is not closed.
it is favorable to seal the bagging portion in order to prevent the article from falling from the bagging portion, but more favorable to seal the bagging portion immediately bef ore or af ter the bag is stuck to goods to be delivered.
it is therefore a principal object of the present invention to provide a sticking bag which can be sealed to prevent an article accommodated therein from slipping out of the sticking bag.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a sticking bag in which the bagging portion can be sealed immediately before or after the-sticking bag is stuck to goods to be delivered.
According to first invention, a sticking bag comprises: a lower base; an upper base formed on one principal surface of the lower base and forming a bagging portion having an opening in cooperation with the lower base; and sticking adhesive layer formed on the other principal surface of the lower base. In the above construction, the upper base is so formed that a part thereof projects from one of the ends of the lower base.
Some embodiments comprise: a lower base formed on one principal surface of the lower base and forming a bagging portion having an opening in cooperation with the lower base; a surface of the lower base; a sealing adhesive layer formed on the lower surface of the part, of the upper base, projecting from the end of the lower base; and release paper temporarily adhered to the sealing adhesive layer. In the above construction, the upper base is so formed that a part thereof projects from one of the ends of the lower base.
Some other embodiments comprise a lower base; an upper base formed on one ( 1 principal surf ace of the lower base and forming a bagging portion in cooperation with the lower base; and a sticking adhesive layer formed on the other principal surface of the lower base. In the above construction, the lower base has a nick, formed thereon, communicating with the bagging portion.
An article such as documents is put into a bagging portion formed between the lower base and the upper base.
According to the present invention, since the bagging portion can be sealed, the article accommodated in the bagging portion does not fall therefrom.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment according to the f irst invention. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the lines 11 - 11 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is an i exploded perspective view showing the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 - A sticking bag 10 according to the embodiment includes a rectangular lower base 12 made of - f or example, f ine quality paper. A separator 14 smaller than the lower base 12 is provided in opposition to one - surface thereof.. One of the vertical end faces of the separator 14 coincides with one of the vertical end f aces of the lower base 12 in the lengthwise direction thereof. The entire separator 14 is positioned in the center of the lower base 12 in the widthwise direction thereof.
A rectangular upper base 18 consisting of, for example, thermosensitive coloring paper is adhered to the separator 14 through an adhesive layer 16 made of, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive. The width of the upper base 18 is the same as that of the lower base 12 and the length thereof is longer than that of the lower base 12. The upper base 18 is adhered to the lower base 12 in the periphery thereof except one end thereof. Accordingly, a bagging portion 22 having an opening 21 is formed between the lower base 12 and the upper base 18 (separator 14). The opening 21 of the bagging portion 22 is positioned on the side of one end portion 19 of the upper base 18. The upper base 18 is adhered to the lower base 12 so that one end portion. 19 of the upper base 18 projects from one end of the lower base 1 ( 12. Accordingly, one end portion 19 of the upper base 18 projects from the opening 21 of the bagging portion 22.
Perforations 20 are formed on the upper base 18 so that the imaginary rectangle formed by connecting the perforations 20 is a little smaller than the separator 14. That is, the rectangle is Positioned inside the outer periphery of the separator 14 supposing both are laminated one on the other with the centers thereof coinciding with each other.
A sticking adhesive layer 24 of, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive is formed in opposition to the other surface of the lower base 12. A rectangular release paper 26 consisting of, for example, paper and a synthetic resin is adhered to the surface of the sticking adhesive layer 24. A release agent layer consisting of, for example, silicone is f ormed on the surface of the release paper 26 so that it is separated from the sticking adhesive layer 24.
The bagging portion 22 of the bag 10 is capable of accommodating anything which is flexible, such as a bill of parcel, a letter of guarantee, label, various kinds of chits or the like.
After a flexible object such as a bill of parcel is put into the bagging portion 22, the opening 21 can be sealed as follows: The release paper 26 is separated from the sticking adhesive layer 24, one end portion 19 of the upper base 18 is folded toward the opening 21 of the bagging portion 22, then one end portion 19 of the upper base 18 is stuck to the lower surf ace of the lower base 12 (the sticking adhesive layer 24). Thus, the enclosure will not slip out of the bagging portion 22.
The enclosure can be taken out of the bagging portion 22 of the bag 10 stuck to goods, to be delivered, by tearing open the upper base 18 along the perforations 20.
As described above, the upper base 18 consists of thermosensitive coloring paper. Therefore, a display such as "bill of parcel is encloseW, 'letter of guarantee is encloseC, or "manual is enclosed" is made on the surface of the upper base 18 by applying the thermosensitive coloring paper to a thermosensitive printer.
in this embodiment, instead of fine quality paper used as the material of the lower base 12 and thermosensitive coloring paper used as the material of the upper base 18, a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, polyethylene or the like may be used. In this case, if the lower base 12 and the upper base 18 consist of a heat-fusible synthetic resin, respectively, both bases fuse together. Thus, it is unnecessary to provide the bag 10 with the adhesive layer 16 f or adhering the lower base 12 and the upper base 1.8 to each other.
c Fig. 4 is an illustration showing an example of a device 100 for manufacturing a lamination to be used in the embodiment of the present invention.
A lamination 30 consists of a long and narrow separator 14a, an adhesive layer 16b, laminated thereon, to be used as the adhesive layer 16, and a thermosensitive coloring paper 18a, laminated on the adhesive layer 16b, to be used as the upper base 18.
The device 100 includes a holding roller 102 for holding the separator 14a. The separator 14a held by the holding roller 102 is raveled at one end thereof and guided to an adhesive printing or coating device 104.
The adhesive printing or coating device 104, comprising two rollers 104a and 104b, applies the adhesive 16a, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive to the surface of the separator 14a and prints it thereon. The lower portion of the roller 104a is immersed in the adhesive 16a contained in a pan 104c. Accordingly, the adhesive 16a is applied to the surface of the separator 14a and printed thereon when the separator 14a passes between the rotating rollers 104a and 104b.
Then, the separator 14a is guided to a dryer 106 comprising a heater. The dryer 106 dries the adhesive 16a printed on the separator 14a, thus forming the adhesive layer 16b on the separator 14a. Then, the separator 14a having the adhesive layer 16b f ormed thereon is guided to a laminating device 108.
Irhe thermosensitive COloring pape r 18a to be used as the upper base 18 is held by a roller 110. The thermosensitive coloring paper 18a is raveled at one end thereof and then, guided to the laminating device 108.
The separator 14a and the adhesive layer 16b laminated one on the other and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a are guided between two rollers 108a and 108b of the laminating device 108 so that the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a is laminated on the adhesive layer 16b. The thermosensitive coloring paper 18a is laminated on the adhesive layer 16b when they pass between the rotating rollers 108a and 108b. Thus, the lamination 30 is formed.
The lamination 30 is wound around a winding roller 120 and held around it.
Fig. 5 is a schematic illustration showing a device for manufacturing the sticking bag shown in Figs. 1 through 3 using the lamination 30 shown in Fig. 4.
The device 130 includes a holding roller 132 for holding the lamination 30. The lamination 30 is raveled at one end thereof and guided to a punching machine 134. The punching machine 134 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having cutting edges (not shown) corresponding to the outer edge of the separator 14 shown in Figs. 2 and 3. Nicks are formed into the separator 14a of the lamination 30 by the die cutter. The punching machine 134 may be composed of a die roll with cutting edges.
The separating rollers 136a and 136b separate the separator 14 (necessary portion) and the unnecessary portion of the separator 14a having the nicks formed thereon from each other. The unnecessary portion of the separator 14a is wound around a roller 138. The lamination 30 including the lamination 30 is guided to a laminating device 140.
The laminating device 140 laminates the lamination 50, to be used as the lower base 12, including such as the fine quality paper 12a on the lamination 30 including the separator 14. On the path for transporting the lamination 30, the laminating device 140 is positioned on the downstream side of the separating rollers 136a and 136b. The lamination 50 consists of an adhesive layer 24b to be used as the sticking adhesive layer 24 laminated on the release paper 26 and fine quality paper 12a, to be used as the lower base 12 laminated on the adhesive layer 24b.
The lamination 50 is formed by a device similar to the device shown in Fig. 4. That is, an adhesive is applied by an adhesive printing or coating device to one of the surfaces of the release paper 26 held by a holding roller and then, the release paper 26 is dried by a drier. Thus, the adhesive layer 24b is formed. Thereafter, the fine quality c paper 12a is adhered to rche surf ace of the adhesive layer 24b which has been dried. Thus, the lamination 50 is formed.
The laminating device 140 comprise s a holding roller 142 f or holding the lamination 50. The lamination 50 is raveled at one end thereof and guided between rollers 142a and 142b. At this time. the lamination 30 is already held between the rollers 142 and 142b. Therefore, between the rollers 142a and 142b, the laminations 30 and 50 are adhered to each other through the adhesive 16a with the separator 14 interposed therebetween. In this case, the fine quality paper 12a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a are adhered with the adhesive 16a to each other in the outer periphery of the three side edges of the separator 14. Thus, the bagging portion 22 having the opening 21 is formed between the fine quality paper 12a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a.
The lamination having the bagging portion 22 formed therein is guided to a perforation forming machine 144. The perforation forming machine 144 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having perforation forming cutting edges. The area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the die cutter is a little smaller than the area of the separator 14. The die cutter forms perforations 20 on the thermosensitive col.oring C,J paper 1Ba. The perforation forming machine 144 may comprise a die roll having perforation forming cutting edges.
A plurality of bags 10 arranged in a row are separated from each other by a cutting machine 146.
Fig. 6 is a schematic illustration showing an example of a device for manufacturing the sticking bag shown in Figs. 1 through 3..
The device 150 includes a holding roller 151. The holding roller 151 holds, for example, the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a to be used as the upper base 18. The thermosensitive coloring paper 18a held around the bolding roller 151 is raveled at one thereof, thus being guided to an adhesive printing or coating device 152.
The adhesive printing or coating device 152r including two rollers 152a. and 152b, applies the adhesive 16a such as a pressure sensitive adhesive to the surface of the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a and printing the applied. adhesive thereon. The lower portion of the roller 152a is immersed in the adhesive 16a contained in a pan. Accordingly, the adhesive 16a is applied to the surface of the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a and the applied adhesive is printed thereon when the tbermosensitive coloring paper 18a passes between the rotating rollers 152a and 152b.
The tbermosensitive coloring paper 18a having the adhesive 16a printed thereon is guided to a separator supply 13 C-1 1 device 154. The separator supply device 154 laminates the separator 14 on the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a having the adhesive 16a printed thereon.
The separator supply device 154 positioned on the path for transporting the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a includes a holding portion 154a provided on the upper section thereof. The holding section 154a holds a plurality of separators 14 and laminates the separator 14 on the surface of the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a having the adhesive 16a printed thereon. The separator 14 held by the holding section 154a is supplied to the surface of the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a every certain period of time. The thermosensitive coloring paper 18a is transported in the lengthwise direction thereof at a constant speed.
Accordingly, the separator 14 is laminated, at a certain interval, on the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a having the adhesive 16a printed thereon. The lamination having the separator 14 piled thereon is guided to a laminating device 156.
The laminating device 156 piles the lamination 50 including, for example, the fine quality paper 12a to be used as the lower base 12 on the lamination including the separator 14. On the path for transporting the lamination, the laminating device 156 is positioned in the downstream side of the separator supply device 154.
The laminating device 156 includes a holding roller 158 for holding the lamination 50 shown in Fig. 5. The lamination 50 held around the roller 158 is raveled at one end thereof and guided between rollers 158a and 158b. At this time, a lamination including the separator 14 is already held between the rollers 158a and 158b. Therefore, between the rollers 158a and 158b, the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a and the lamination 50 are adhered to each other through the adhesive 16a, with the separator 14 interposed therebetween. In this case, the fine quality paper 12a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a are adhered to each other with the adhesive 16a in the outer periphery of the three side edges of the separator 14. Thus, the bagging portion 22 having the opening 21 is formed between the fine quality paper 12a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a.
The lamination having the bagging portion 22 formed therein is guided to a perforation forming machine 160. The perforation forming machine 160 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having perforation forming cutting edges. The area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the die cutter is a little smaller than the area of the separator 14. Perforations 20 are formed on the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a by the die cutter. The the perforation forming machine 160 may comprise a die roll with perforation forming cutting is . 1( edges. A plurality o,,r bags 10 arranged in a row are separated from each other by the cutting machine 162.
Fig. 7 is a schematic illustration showing an example of a device for manufacturing the sticking bag shown in Pigs. 1 through 3.
The device 170 includes a holding roller 171 which holds the lamination 50 shown in Fig. 5. The lamination 50 is raveled at one thereof and guided to a separator supply device 172. The separator supply device 172 laminates the separator 14 on the lamination 50.
The separator supply device 172 is positioned on the path for transporting the lamination 50 and includes a holding portion 172a provided above the lamination 50. The holding portion 172a holds a plurality of separators 14, thus piling the separator 14 on the lamination 50. The separator 14 held by the holding portion 172a is supplied to the surface of the lamination 50 every constant period of time. The lamination 50 is transported in the lengthwise direction thereof at a constant speed. Accordingly, the separator 14 is piled on the lamination 50 at a predetermined interval. The lamination 50 having the separator 14 piled thereon is guided between sandwiching rollers 173a and 173b. The rollers 173a and 173b prevent the separator 14 from being displaced from the predetermined position of the lamination 50.

on the path for transporting the lamination 50, the adhesive layer forming device 174 is positioned in the downstream side of the rollers 173a and 173b. The adhesive forming device 174, including two rollers 174a and 174b, applies the adhesive 16a to the surface of the lamination 50 having the separator 14 piled thereon and prints the applied the adhesive 16a thereon. The lower portion of the roller 174a is immersed in the adhesive 16a contained in a pan. Accordingly, the adhesive 16a is applied to the surface of the lamination 50 having the separator 14 laminated thereon and the adhesive is printed on the lamination 50 when the lamination 50 passes between the rotating rollers 174a and 174b.
Then, the lamination 50 having the adhesive 16a printed tbereon is guided to a laminating device 176.
The laminating device 176 piles the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a, to be used as the upper base 18, on the separator 14 (lamination 50). on the path for transporting the lamination 50, the laminating device 176 is positioned in the downstream side of the adhesive forming device 174. The laminating device 176 includes a holding roller 176a for holding the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a. The thermosensitive coloring paper 18a held around the roller 1 176a is raveled at one end thereof and guided between rollers 176b and 176c. At this time, the lamination 50 having the separator 14 piled thereon is held between the rollers 176b and 176c. Therefore, between the rollers 176b and 176c, with the separator 14 sandwiched therebetween, the lamination 50 and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a are adhered to each other with the adhesive 16a. in this case, the fine quality paper 12a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a are adhered to each other with the adhesive 16a in the outer periphery of the three side edges of the separator 14. Thus, the bagging portion 22 having the opening 21 is formed between the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a and the fine quality paper 12a.
The lamination having the bagging portion 22 formed therein is guided to a perforation forming machine 178. The perforation forming machine 160 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having perforation forming cutting edges. The area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the die cutter is a little smaller than the area of the separator 14. The perforations 20 are formed on the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a by the die cutter. The perforation forming machine 178 may comprise a die roll with perforation forming cutting edges. A plurality of bags 10 arranged in a row are separated from each other by a cutting machine 180.
' X in the above-described embodiment, it is unnecessary to provide the bag 10 with the separator 14 if the adhesive layer 16 is formed only in the portion corresponding to the periphery of the lower base 12 except one end thereof. Likewise, it is unnecessary to provide the bag 10 with the separator 14 if an adhesive performance preventing layer made of such as ink hardened by applying ultraviolet rays is formed in the portion, on the surface of the adhesive layer 16, to which the separator 14 is to be adhered.
in the above-described embodiment, the thermosensitive coloring paper 18a is used as the upper base 18, however, fine quality paper may be used instead. in this case, since the upper base 18 is made of the f ine quality paper, an indication such as "bill of parcel is enclosed", "letter of guarantee is enclosed", and "manual is encloseW can be printed on the upper base 18. in order to allow the indication to be thermosensitive by a thermosensitive printer, a thermosensitive coloring agent layer is formed on the surface of the upper base 18 made of the f ine quality paper by applying a thermosensitive coloring agent to the surf ace of the upper base 18 and printing the applied coloring agent thereto using an adhesive printing or coating device.
in this embodiment, long and narrow rolled paper is selected as the f ine quality paper 12a, the thermosensitive 1 1 coloring paper 18a, and the release paper 26, but separate paper may be selected instead.
in this embodiment, the bags 10 arranged in a row are separated from each other by a cutting machine, however, instead of the cutting machine, perforations may be formed between adjacent bags 10 by a perforation forming machine so that the bags 10 are separated from each other along the perforations. A sticking bag 210 in this embodiment inbludes, for example, a rectangular lower base 212 made of fine quality paper. A T-shaped separator 214 is opposed t o one of the surfaces of the lower base 212. The width of the narrow portion of the separator 214 is smaller than that of the lower base 212 and the width of the wide portion thereof is the same as that of the lower base 212. The narrow portion of the separator 214 is Positioned in the center of the lower base 212 and a part of the wide portion thereof projects from one end of the lower base 212 in the lengthwise direction thereof.
- 20 i --, A rectangular upper base 218 made of, f or example, a thermosensitive coloring paper is adhered to the lower base 212 and the separator 214 with a sealing adhesive layer 216 made of a pressure sensitive adhesive agent. The width of the upper base 218 is identical to that of the lower base 212 and the length thereof is longer than that of the lower base 212. The upper base 218 is adhered to the lower base 212 in the 'U-shaped Portion thereof not covered with the separator 214 with the sealing adhesive layer 216. The upper base 218 is adhered to the separator 214 with the sealing adhesive layer 216. Accordingly, a bagging portion 222 having an opening 221 Is formed between the lower base 212 and the upper base 218, and the opening 221 of the bagging portion 222 is formed on the side of one end portion 219 of the upper base 218. One end portion 219 of the upper base 218 projects f rom one end of the lower base 212. Accordingly, one end portion 219 of the upper base 218 projects from the opening 221 of the bagging portion 222.
Below one end of the upper base 218, a protecting portion 214A serving as a member for protecting the sealing adhesive layer 216 is f ormed on one end portion of the wide portion of the separator 214 through a nick 223. The nick 223 is f ormed on the separator 214 in the widthwise direction thereof so that the nick 223 is formed at a Position corresponding to the position spaced slightly outward from 1 ( one end of the lower base 212. Accordingly, the protecting portion 214A can be Cut along the nick 223 to separate the protecting portion 214A from the separator 214. Thus, the sealing adhesive layer 216 can be exposed to the outside below one end portion 219 of the upper base 218.
Perforations 220 are formed on the upper base 218 so that the area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the,perforations 220 is a little smaller than the area of the bagging portion 222. That is, supposing that both are laminated one' on the other with the center thereof coinciding with each other, the perforation lines are disposed inside the outer periphery of the bagging portion 222.
A sticking adhesive agent layer 224 made of, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is formed on the other surface of the lower base 212. A rectangular release paper 226 made of, for example, paper and a synthetic resin is formed on the surface of the sticking adhesive layer 224. A separation layer made, for example, a release agent such as silicon is formed on the surface of the release paper 226. The bagging portion 222 of the bag 210 is capable of accommodating
anything that is flexible such as a bill of parcel, a letter of guarantee, label, various kinds of chits or the like.
With an article such as a bill of parcel enclosed in the bagging portion 222, the bag 210 can be stuck to goods, to be delivered, with the sticking adhesive layer 224. The opening 221 of the bagging portion 222 can be sealed immediately before or after the opening 221 is sealed. That is, in order to seal the opening 221 before sticking the bag 210 to the goods to be delivered, the release paper 226 and the protecting portion 214A positioned below one end portion 219 of the upper base 218 are separated from the sticking adhesive layer 224 and the separator 214, respectively, then, one end portion 219 of the upper base 218 is f olded toward the opening 221 of the bagging portion 222 so as to stick one end portion 219 to the lower surf ace of the lower base 212. In order to seal the opening 221 af ter sticking the lower base 212 to the goods to be delivered (not shown) by peeling the separation paper 226 off the sticking adhesive layer 224, one end portion 219 of the upper base 218 is stuck to the surf ace of the goods to be delivered, with the sealing adhesive layer 216.
Accordingly, an enclosure accommodated in the bagging portion 222 does not fall therefrom.
In order to take the enclosure out of the bagging portion 222 of the bag 210 stuck to the surface of the goods (not shown), the upper base 218 is cut along the perfotations 220.
Since the upper base 218 of the bag 210 consists of thermosensitive coloring paper, a display such as "bill of parcel is encloseW, "letter of guarantee is enclosed"# "manual is enclosed% or the like can be made by applying the upper base 218 to a thermosensitive printer.
in this embodiment, instead of fine quality paper used as the material of the lower base 212 and thermosensitive coloring recording paper used as the material of the upper base 218, a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, polyethyiene or the like may be used. In this case, if the lower base 212 and the upper base 218 consist of a heat-fusible synthetic resin, respectively, both bases fuse together. Thus, it is unnecessary to provide an adhesive for adhering the lower base 212 and the upper base 218 to each other.
An example of the method for manufacturing the bag 210 shown in Fig. 8 is described below.
Fig. 11A is a schematic illustration showing an example of a device f or manufacturing the bag shown in Figs. 8 through 10 using the lamination shown in Fig. 4.
The device 230 includes a roller 232. The roller 232 holds a lamination 280 similar to that shown in Fig. 4. The lamination 280 is raveled at one end thereof and guided to a punching machine 234. The punching machine 134 includes A flat die cutter (not shown) having cutting edges (not shown) corresponding to the configuration of the narrow portion of 1 the separator 214 arranged in a row. Nicks are formed into the separator base 214a of the lamination 280 by the die cutter. The punching machine 234 may comprise a die roll with cutting edges.
Rollers 236a and 236b separate the separator base 214a an unnecessary portion 214b from separators (necessary portion) 214c arranged in a row. That Is, as shown in Fig. 11B, the unnecessary portion 214b of the separator base 214a are wound around a winding roller 238. As a result, the sealing adhesive layer 216 thereof is exposed to the out-r side. The lamination 280 including the separator 214C arranged in a row as shown in Fig.. 11C is guided to a laminating device 240. Each of the wide portions of the separators 214c arranged in a row is cut to a predetermined width by a cutting machine 246 which will be described later, with the result that the separator 214c, having the T-shaped separator 214 and the protecting portion 214A, is formed.
The laminating device 240 laminates a lamination 290, including fine quality paper 212a to be used as the lower base 212, on the lamination 280 including the separator 214c. On the path for transporting the lamination 280, the laminating device 240 is disposed in the downstream side of the separating rollers 236a and 236b. The lamination 290 consists of the sticking adhesive layer 224 piled on the X 1 release paper 226 and the fine quality paper 212a to be used as the lower base 212 laminated on the sticking adhesive layer 224.
The lamination 290 is-formed by a device similar to the device shown in Fig. 4. That is, an adhesive is applied by an adhesive printing or coating device to one of the surfaces of the release paper 226 held by a holding roller, and the applied adhesive is printed thereon. Thereafter, the adhesive is dried by a drier. Thus, the sticking adhesive layer 224 is formed. Thereafter, the- fine quality paper 212a is adhered to the sticking adhesive layer 224 which has been dried. Thus, the lamination 290 is formed.
The laminating device 240 includes a holding roller 242 for holding the lamination 290. The lamination 290 is raveled at one end thereof and guided between rollers 242a and 242b. At this time, the lamination 280 including the separator 214c is already held between the rollers 242a and 242b. Therefore, between the rollers 242a and 242b, the lamination 290 and the fine quality paper 212a are adhered to each other with the adhesive 216a, with the separator 214c interposed therebetween. In this case, the fine quality paper 212a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 218a are adhered to each other in the outer periphery of the three side edges of the narrow portion of the separator 214c. Thus, the bagging portion 222 having the opening 221 0 0 ( ' is f ormed between the fine quality paper 212a and the thermosensitive coloring paper 218a.
The lamination having the bagging portion 222 is guided to a perforation forming machine 244. The perforation forming machine 244 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having perforation forming cutting edges (not shown). The area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the die cutter is a little smaller than the area of the bagging portion 222. The perforations 220 are formed on the thermosensitive coloring paper 218a by the die cutter. The perf oration forming machine 244 may comprise a die roll with perforation forming cutting edges.
The lamination having the perforations 220 formed thereon is guided to a nick forming machine 245. The nick forming machine 245 includes a flat die cutter (not shown) having nick forming cutting edges (not shown). The nick 223 is formed into the separator 214c by the die cutter. The nick forming machine 245 may comprise a die roll having nick forming cutting edges.
The bags 210 arranged in a row are separated f rom each other by a cutting machine 246. In this case, the wide portion of the separator 214c is cut to a predetermined width to form the separator 214.
- 27 0 in the sticking bag according to the second invention, an article or the like is put into the bagging portion formed between the lower base and the upper base.
The opening of the bagging portion is sealed by peeling the protecting portion, of the separator, temporarily stuck to the sealing adhesive layer and sticking the lower base and a part of the upper base, projecting therefrom to the outside to, goods to be delivered, with the sticking adhesive layer and the sealing adhesive layer. The opening is also sealed by folding a part of the upper base projecting therefrom to the outside and sticking the part to one of the surfaces of the lower base with the sealing adhesive layer.
According to the second invention, since the bagging portion can be sealed, an article or the like put therein does not slip therefrom. Moreover, the bagging portion can be sealed immediately before or after the bag is stuck to the goods to be delivered.
Fig. 12 is a perspective view showing one embodiment of the third invention. Fig. 13 is a sectional view taken along the lines-11 - 11 of Fig. 12. Fig. 14 is an exploded perspective view showing the embodiment shown in Fig. 12.
A sticking bag 310 in this embodiment includes, for example, a rectangular lower base 312 made of fine quality paper. A separator 314 smaller than the lower base 312 is opposed to one of the surfaces of the upper base 312.
1 1 A rectangular uppel base 318 made of, for example, thermosensitive coloring paper is adhered to the lower base 312 and the separator 314 with a sealing adhesive layer 316 made of, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive. The width and length of the upper base 318 are the same as those of the lower base 312. Perforations 320 are formed on the upper base 318 so that the area of the imaginary rectangle formed by the perforations 320 is a little smaller than the area of the separator 314 supposing that both are laminated one on the other with the center thereof coinciding with each other. That is, the perforation lines are disposed inside the outer periphery of the bagging portion 222. The upper base 318 is adhered to the exposed portion of the upper surface of the lower base 312 with the sealing adhesive layer 316. In this case, since the separator 314 is adhered to the upper base 318 with the sealing adhesive layer 316, the separator 314 is not displaced.
A sticking adhesive layer 324 made of, for example, a pressure sensitive adhesive is formed in opposition to the other surface of the lower base 312. A rectangular release paper 326 consisting of, for example, paper and a synthetic resin is adhered to the surface of the sticking adhesive layer 324. A release agent layer consisting of. for example, silicon is formed on the surface of the release paper 4 1 1 326 so that the separation paper 326 is separated from the sticking adhesive layer 324.
A slit 323 is formed on the lower base 312, the sticking adhesive layer 324, and the release paper 326. In correspondence with a line spaced a certain distance. inward from one end of the separator 314 in the lengthwise direction thereof, the slit 323 is formed from one end to the other end of each of the lower base 312, the sticking adhesive layer 324, and the release paper 326 in the width direction thereof.
Thus, the bagging portion 322 having the opening 321 is formed between the lower base 312 and the upper base 318 (separator 314). The opening 321 of the bagging portion 322 is positioned in the center region of the slit 323. Each of the two regions divided by the slit 323 is separated f rom the release paper 326, so that the sticking adhesive layer 324 can be exposed to the outside.
As shown in Fig. 15, a document (A) or the like such as a bill of parcel can be put into the bagging portion 322 of the bag 310 through the opening 321 f ormed by the slit 323. The slit 323 is widened to put the document (A) into the bagging portion 322. Documents include whatever is flexible such as a letter of guarantee, a label, a chit.
The bag 310 having the enclosure in the bagging portion 322 can be stuck to goods, to be delivered, with the C1 1 ' sticking adhesive layer 324 immediately before or after the bag 310 is stuck to the goods. The method f or sealing the opening 321 is described below: As shown in Fig. 16, the slit 323 divides the lower base 312 into two portions 312a and 312b. The portions 326a and 326b of the release paper 326 are separated therefrom, and the portion 312a of the lower base 312 and the portion 318a of the upper base 318 are folded toward the opening 321 of the bagging portion 322 so that the portions 312a and 318a are stuck to the lower surface of the portion 312b of the lower base 312. If the opening 321 is to be sealed by separating the portion 326b, of the release Paper 326 therefrom so as to stick the portion 312b of the lower base 312 to goods (B) to be delivered as shown in Fig. 17, the portion 326a of the release paper 326 is separated therefrom so that the portion 312a of the lower base 312 is stuck to the surf ace of the goods (B) with the sticking adhesive layer 324.
Accordingly, the article accommodated in the bagging portion 322 does not slip therefrom.
in order to take the enclosure out of the bagging portion 322 of the bag 310 stuck to the goods (B), the upper base 318 is cut along the perforations 320.
Since the upper base 318 of the bag 310 consists of thermosensitive coloring paper, a display such as "bill of parcel is encloseC, "letter of guarantee is encloseC, and 1 "manual is enclosedql can be made by applying the upper base 318 to a thermosensitive printer.
In this embodiment. fine guality paper is used as the material of the lower base 312 and thermosensitive coloring paper is used as the material of the upper base 318, however, a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, polyethylene or the like may be used. In this case, if the lower base 312 a nd the upper base 318 consist of a beat-fusible synthetic resin, respectively, both bases fuse together. Thus, it is unnecessary to provide the adhesive layer 316 for adhering the lower base 312 and the upper base 318 to each other.
Documents or the like can be put into the bagging portion through the slit.
in addition, the bagging portion can be sealed by sticking the lower base to goods, to be delivered, with the sticking adhesive layer. Further, the bagging portion can be sealed by f olding the upper base and one end portion of the lower base and by sticking the f olded portions to the other surf ace of the lower base with a sticking adhesive layer.
According to the present invention, since the bagging portion can be sealed, an enclosure of the bagging portion does not fall therefrom. Further, the bagging portion can be sealed immediately before or after the bag is stuck, for example, to goods to be delivered.

Claims (25)

  1. A sticking bag cOmPrisJ2.ng: a lower base; an upper base f ormed On one principal surf ace of said lower base and f orming a bagging portion having an opening in cooperation with said lower base; and a sticking adhesive layer formed on the other principal surface of said lower base; said upper base being so f ormed that a part thereof projects from one of the ends of said lower base.
  2. 2. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 1, wherein said upper base is adhered to said lower base with an adhesive layer.
  3. 3. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 2, wherein a separator smaller than said lower base is formed between said adhesive layer and the principal surface, of said lower base, positioned on the side of said upper base.
  4. 4. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 3, wherein perforations are formed on said upper base so that the area of the rectangle formed by said perforations is smaller than the area of said separator.
  5. 5. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 1, wherein release paper is temporarily adhered to the surface of said sticking adhesive layer.
  6. 6. A bag in accordance with claim 1 further comprising - 34 -A l( a sealing adhesive layer formed on the lower surface of the part, of said upper base, projecting f rom the end of said lower base; and a protecting member, temporarily adhered to said sealing adhesive layer, for protecting said sealing adhesive layer.
  7. 7. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 6, wherein said lower base f orms a bagging portion in the periphery thereof except said opening in cooperation with said upper base and said sealing adhesive layer.
  8. 8.. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 7, wherein a separator is formed between said sealing adhesive layer and said lower base except the area in which the peripheries of said upper base and said lower base are adhered to each other.
  9. 9. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 6, wherein said protecting member temporarily adhered to said sealing f 1 A, -1 1 adhesive layer is f ormed continuously with said separator, through a nick, projecting from said opening.
  10. 10. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 9, wherein said separator is T-shaped.
  11. 11. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 6, wherein perf orations are f ormed on said upper base so that the area of the rectangle formed by said perforations are smaller than the area of said separator.
  12. 12. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 6, wherein release paper is temporarily formed on the surf ace of said sticking adhesive layer.
  13. 13. A sticking bag comprising: a lower base; an upper base f ormed on one principal surf ace of said lower base and forming a bagging portion in cooperation with said lower base; and a sticking adhesive layer formed on the other principal surface of said lower base; said lower base having a nick, formed thereon, communicating with said bagging portion.
  14. 14. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 13, wherein said upper base is adhered to said lower base in the periphery thereof with a sealing adhesive layer.
  15. 15. A sticking bag in accordance with. claim 13, wherein a separator smaller than said lower base is formed between the adhesive layer and the principal surface, of said lower base, positioned on the side of said upper base.
  16. 16. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 15, wherein perforations are formed on said upper base so that the area of the rectangle formed by said perforations is smaller than the area of said separator.
  17. 17. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 13, wherein release paper is temporarily adhered to the surface of said sticking adhesive layer.
  18. 18. A sticking bag in accordance with claim 17, wherein a nick communicating with said bagging portion is formed on said lower base and said separating paper so as to form an opening.
  19. 19. A bag substantially as described herein by reference to the drawings.
  20. 20. A process specially adapted for the manufacture of a bag as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 12 and 19 the process comprising the steps of i forming a lower base with an adhesive layer on one principal face ii forming an upper base, and iii laminating the upper base to the other principal face of the lower base so as to form a bagging portion having an opening such that a part of the upper base projects from one of the ends of the lower base.

A process specially adapted for the manufacture of a bag as claimed in any one of claims 13 to 19, the process comprising the steps of i forming a lower base with a nick and an adhesive layer on one principal surface ii forming an upper base, and iii laminating the upper base to the other principal face of the lower base so as to form a bagging portion with the nick communicating with the bagging portion.
  22. 22. A process specially adapted for the manufacture of a bag substantially as described herein.
  23. 23. Apparatus specifically designed for carrying out a process as claimed in claim 20 or claim 22, the apparatus comprising i means for forming a lower base with an adhesive layer on one principal face, ii means for forming an upper base, and iii means for laminating the upper base of the other principal face of the lower base so as to form a bagging portion such that a part of the upper base projects from one of the ends of the lower base.
  24. 24. Apparatus specifically designed for carrying out a process as claimed in claim 21 or claim 22, the apparatus comprising i means for forming a lower base with a nick and an adhesive layer on one principal surface C ii means for forming an upper base, and iii means for laminating the upper base to the other principal face of the lower base so as to. form a bagging portion with the nick communicating with the bagging portion.
  25. 25. Apparatus for making a bag substantially as described herein.
