Abstract

A mascara applicator comprises two compartments joined end-to-end. Each compartment contains mascara of a different colour to that in the other compartment and each compartment also contains its own wand/brush to enable each colour to be applied separately. The invention also relates to a painting applicator which comprises two compartments joined end-to-end with a painting brush contained in a screw top in each compartment. The two compartments may contain different coloured paints. One of the painting brushes may be a normal painting brush and the other a similar brush or an outlining brush.

Description

DESCRIPTION (A) DOUBLE ENDED MASCARA AND/BRUSH which comprises two containers joined end to end with a screw top at either/each end, which when unscrewed has a mascara wand or brush attached to it. Each half (end) contains a separate colour:i.e. Left hand end - navy Right hand end - silver or Left hand end - brown Right hand end - gold or Left hand end - black Right hand end - Silver or Left hand end - any colour Right hand end - either silver or gold or a different colour i.e. any colour.
The design in principle is the same as most mascara tubes - the difference in this description being that each end unscrews as stated above and each half of the tube contains a different colour, thus making it double ended.
(B) Re (A) above - Can also be adapted as a double ended liquid applicator with brushes suitable for painting with each half (end) containing a separate colour and/or a lighter or darker shade of same colour:i.e. Left hand end - navy Right hand end - light blue or Left hand end - brown Right hand end - yellow or Left hand end - black Right hand end - white or Left hand end - any colour Right hand end - either silver or gold or a different colour i.e.
any colour.
Each end can contain the same type of brush for painting or one end can contain a normal type of painting brush with the other end having a brush suitable for outlining.

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIMS: (A) As a double ended mascara wand/brush - the claim is to colour eye lashes say brown, then using the right hand end apply say sold to the tips of the eyelashes. This would be particularly appealing to fashion concious teenagers or adult women, especially as an added eye attraction for use in the evening, although there is of course, nothing to stop the same being used in the daytime.
    Thus one end (as per description) could contain brown mascara which is applied using the brush type end and the other colour say gold, is applied to lashes (tips thereof) using the wand type brush.
    (B) The above can also be adapted as a double ended liquid applicator again comprising of two containers joined end to end with brush which is attached to a screw top. Each end can contain different colours or shades, lighter or darker of the colour at the left hand end. In this manner it can with paint type brushes at each end be used in sets to make up painting kits/sets for adults/children to use. Normal painting brush at each end, or normal brush one end and outlining brush at other end.
