Description
Title: Fluid ApplicatIon Tool The present inve".t4-4cn relates to a tool
for applying flui ds such as writing ink, correction liqui.d, make-up liquid, hai= dye, paint, liquid adhesion, and liquid medic-4ne. In the invention, it is assumed that wrIting materials are also included in the application tool.
in a conventional fluid applicat-don tool so conficured that flu^1d is passed f=om a reservoir tank throuc.h an induction tube to an immersion substance located at' the fr-nt end 0-0 the induct-,'on tube and then supplied to an applicat' 11 - 1 i on material, the air replacing the ejected fluid is sent back from the immersion substaInce to the reservo-J.- thro the inductic.n tube to adjust the internal pressure of t'he tank. However, the cc.-,vent-J'cnal f!u-4d appl-4--at-4cn tool b.as such a sIL,.=uctjze that the rear of the irr.ersion substance is abutted on the edge of the fluid exit located at the front end of the induction tube without a gap or, the flat rear end (see Fig. 8) of the immersion substance 3 is abutted without any cap on the edge of the f-lu.4'.d ex.4t locat-ed an the immersion substance suPport. 7 inser:ed as shown in Flas. 6 and 7 between the irnmersion substance 3 and the Induction tube 2, and ac--or,;..-na-ly such 6'"'.-uc."bure may often cause the fluid fed out from the fluid exit 5 to the imr.-.ersion substanc- 3 to go back with the air wher. the a-drl enters f-rom the immersion substance 3 to the induction tube or the fluid exit located on the immersion substance support. Therefore, in order to accumulate the required c.,novnt of fluid enabling the immersion substance 3 to supply the fluid to the application material 4, it is necessary to perform trivial operation such as rece.,,,-,'tive pressing operations to feed the fluid su-.,"61:ic 4 iently, The prese4-At invention,is intendea to r,ake. tzivial. operations such as repetitive pressing operations to feed fluid unnecessary by providing such a luid application tool that the fluid sent out from the fluid exit to the immersion substance is restricted from going back with the air when the air is entered from the immersion substance to the fluid ex-L of the irurersion substance SUtpOrt placed in contact with the flat rear end of the irxrersion substance The present invention provides a fluid application too-l so confic-ured that fluid to be applied is passed from a reservoi= tank through an induction tube to a-4---oerrreab-7e immersion substance located at the ú-- ont end of the induction tube and then to an application material and a gap is provided between the edge e.JO- a fluidexit abutted on the material and the rea= end of the immersion material by a concave formed on the latter.
Reference will be made to the accoirpanying drawings, in which:- F-49s. 1 - 3 show a hair dye application tool. accordinc to the present invent--'on.

The present invention will be described in detail referring to Figs. 1 - 5 showing a he!= dye application tool accordina to the present invention but it is not I.Jmited to such embodiment.
j5 An end shaft 9 is screwed on the front end of a main shaft 8, a pedestal 10 is-f-,;xed withlin the end shaft 9, and a brush, aczl-,,cat;or material. 4 ccns..'Lst,Lnc-r of bundles of fibez Is planted on the front side of the pedestal 10 in such inclined pose that its tJp cornes up to thA c en ' ter line of the end shaft. The tip of the azplicaor materiai 4 projects forward. over the end opening along the end shaft.
A through-hole 11 is bored in the center cf the pedestal 10 and a sponge Immersion substance 3 with a concave 6 at the rear end as shown in Fig. 3 is provIded penetrating the t&h=ough-hole 11.
The front half of the immersion substance 3 proiects forward over the pedestal 10 with its side contactIng with the Inclined applic ato'r material 4 described above. An Immersion substance support 7 is placed in the rear of the pedestal 10 and the rear end of the substance 3 is abutted on the front end, of the immersion substance support 7.
The center of the ir.nersion substance su-n-co::z 7 has a through-hcle 12 whose front end constitutes a ha-,'-- dye ex-it5 and the concave 6 a: the rear end of the imr-,,ersion subs:ance 3 faces the hair dye exit 5. Therefore, the cencave 6 prcd.jces a gap A between the i=ersion substance 3 and the ha4- dye it 5. Die to the existance of sa4d can A, the ha4- dye ex.
is restricted from going back from the ha-.-- dye ex-4t to the irrimerslon substance tocether with the air when the air is sent frcm the Immersion substance to the hair dye exit. Thus it is easy for the immersion substance to accumulate a required amount of hair dye to be supplied to the application materia! with only a few operations, which improves the usability of the tool.
The rear end of the 1,7Lnersion substance support 7 is abutted on the front end oil the induction tube 2, and the through-hcle 12 of the Immersion substance support 7 is communicated with the induction hole 13 of the induction tute 2. The induction tube 2 is screwed on the inside of the end shaft 9. In the main shaft 8 is received a cartridge-type _f _k hair dye reservoir tank 1 ax-dally movabl, and the rear of the reservoir tank 1 is provided a press mr 14 penetrating toward the rear of the main shaf t 8 through a press spring 15.
A valve unit 16 is mounted in the inside of the f=ont end aperture of the reservoir tank 1, and arear end pine 17 of the induction tube 2 is inserted into th.e reservoir tank 1 through a front end opening to abut on a valve bar 18.
Pressing the press nr14 forward, the reservoir tank 1 is advanced to the p--,-e 17 of the induction tube 2 bul- the valve bar 18 cannot be moved due to abutment on the pipe 17, and accordingly the valve bar 18 goes back relatively in the valve unit 16 to enable the hair dye to flow Into the space forward against the valve bar 18. Next, if the pressure is relea5ed, the valve spring 19 in the valve.
unit 16 causes the reservoir tank 1 to cc back relatively to the pi pe 17 of the induction tube 2, and thus the valve bar 18 aces forward rela-tively to the reservoir tank 1, enables the hair dye in the space before the valve bar 18 to be pressed into the pine 17 of the induction tube 2. In this state only a small negative pressure appears in the reservoir tank 1. The hair dye entering into the induction tube 2 is led to the through-hole 12 of the iw.-,iersion substance support 7 through the induction hole 13 and then fed to the _Qn substance 3 from the hair dye ex-LI 5. Next, press.ra the press nezrber again, the negative pres'sure in the rese--vc-4-tan k 1 causes replacement air to be pulled into the reservoir tank through the immersion substance 3, and releasing the pressure, the halr dye is fed to the immersIon substance 3 as described-above. If the hair dye accumulated in the immersion substance 3 reaches to a required amount by repeating the above operations for several times, then it is sent frc,m the immersion substance 3 to the application material 4.
