Abstract
An inflatable portable toilet for young children comprises a plurality of tubular inflatable compartments and a flat base.
Description
INFLATABLE PORTABLE TOILET FOR CHILDREN
This invention relates to an inflatable portable toilet for children.
Portable toilets for children, particularly between the ages of 1 and 4 years, created out of plastic and known as "potties" are in constant use. However, a "potty" is often bulky and difficult to carry any distance. When a family is travelling, a traditional potty is a waste of space and clumsy to use.
This invention is to provide a cheap inflatable toilet for young children to use on holiday, to take travelling by aeroplane or any other means. It will be small enough when deflated to be carried in a woman 5 handbag. It will be easily inflated and enable the child to sit safely and securely whilst going to the toilet. The "potty" will be easily deflated after use and its contents dispensed with. It will be supplied with a lid to cover the contents prior to disposal, which doubles for a bag in which to carry the article when deflated.
The article may be created in a variety of shapes and sizes, retaining its original purpose.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing which Figure 1. Shows in perspective the inflated portable toilet.
Figure 2. Shows in perspective the bag in which it will be supplied, which
will also serve as a cover for the inflated portable toilet after
use.
Figure 3. Shows the simple hand pump for inflation of the portable toilet.
Figure 4. Shows the P.V.C. tube for inflation and deflation of the portable
toilet.
Referring to the drawing, the inflatable toilet comprises a collection of inflatable tubes (figure 1) with a P.V.C. base.
The tubes will be inflated by a simple hand pump (figure 3) or valve (figure 4).
The lid (figure 2) which is the bag in which the article will be supplied has a draw string.
The article will be deflated by releasing a valve by use of a P.V.C. tube (figure 4).
The inflatable toilet nay be repacked in the bag (figure 2) in which it is supplied after use.
Claims (4)
1. The inflatable portable toilet comprising a collection of tubular
inflatable compartments with a flat base creates a stable transportable
children's toilet.
2. The inflatable portable toilet as claimed in claim 1. enables a toilet
to be transported in confined areas and inflated in situ.
3. The inflatable portable toilet as claimed in claim 1. and 2. enables a
toilet to be transported in a confined area after use when deflated.
4. The inflatable portable toilet as claimed in claims 1. to 3. enables a
toilet to be created in any number of inflatable shapes or forms.
