Abstract

A hand powered hole digger/cleaner comprises a rod A which has a handle at one end and is connected to bucket D by a pivot pin/bolt at the other end. Lever/handle C is attached to rod A by a pivot pin/bolt. Rod B is connected at one end to handle/lever C by a pivot pin/bolt and at the other end is connected to bucket D by a pivot pin/bolt. As lever C is moved in an upward and downward direction, bucket D is moved so as to scoop up earth. <IMAGE>

Description

HAND POWERED HOLE DIGGER / CLEANER.
This invention relates to a hand powered hole digger / cleaner.
To dig small, deep holes with a spade, shovel or trowel ak larger hole than necessary has to be dug in order to achieve depth, and a larger amount of earth than necessary has to be removed.
The present invention provides a hand powered hole digger / cleaner comprising of a bucket, aa holding rod and an operating rod attached to the bucket by nuts and bolts, and an operating handle attached to the holding rod and operating rod by meana of nuts and bolts.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompnying drawing in which: Figure 1 shows the digger/cleaner in the open, ready to dig/ scoop position.
Figure 2 shows the digger/cleaner im the cloaed, dug/scDoped positions Figure 3 shows the digger/cleaner being withdrawn with the bucket full of spoil.
Referring to the drawing Fig 1, by holding handle A and moving handle C in a downward movement, rod B is moved which crowds bucket D into the position shown in Fig 2. The digger/cleaner is then drawn out of the hole, as shown in Fig 3.

1 A hand powered hole digger / cleaner comprising of two holding handles, a lever, two operating rods and a bucket.
2 A hand powered hole digger / cleaner substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1-3 of the accompanying drawings
