Abstract

An Amusement-with-prize machine which combines an electronic roulette-style game with a spring-loaded mechanism. This mechanism is manually operated by the player in order to propel the ball towards the horizontal playing wheel, which comprises 25 equally-spaced segments. If the segment on which the ball has settled contains the number or colour previously selected by the player, then the player will win a prize.

Description

DESCRIPTION PLAY ROULETTE (AMUSEMENT-WITH-PRIZE MACHINE) This invention relates to an Amusement-with-prize machine.
This Amusement-with-prize machine combines an electronic roulette style game with a spring-loaded mechanism, which is manually operated by the player in order to propel the ball towards the playing wheel.
The machine operates as follows: 1. The player will insert 10 pence for each play.
2. The player will either select a number (or combination of numbers) from the range 0 to 24, or a colour from a range of 5 colours, using a vertical electronic panel facing him.
3. The player, using the spring-loaded mechanism, propels the ball into the horizontal playing wheel, which is visible to the player.
t. The ball will settle into one of the 25 equally-spaced segments on this roulette-style wheel. Each segment will be attributed both a number and a colour. The segments will be numbered from o to 24; there will be five colours spread evenly amongst the 25 segments.
5. If the segment on which the ball has settled contains the number or colour previously selected by the player, then the player will win a prize.
6. The ball is electronically removed from its resting place on the wheel and is returned to the position from where it will be propeiled in the next play.
7. The machine is now ready for the next play.

Claims (2)

1. An Amusement-with-prize machine which combines an electronic roulette-style game (where the player selects a number, or combination of numbers, or a colour, using a vertical electronic panel facing him) with a spring-loaded mechanism, which is manually operated by the player in order to propel the ball towards the horizontal playing wheel.
2. An Amusement-with-prize machine substantially as described herein with reference to the accompanying drawing.
