Abstract
A device for preparation of the gradient solution for a high-pressure liquid chromatograph comprises containers (1) with elements, a valve unit (7), a reciprocating piston pump (9) and a mixer (4). Each container (1) is provided with a movable partition (10) dividing its cavity into two chambers (11, 12). The valve unit (7) consists of a flow-through chamber (13) and of a rotatable valve-distributor placed in it and provided with a rotor (15) and a stator (16). The rotor (15) has one through-channel (17) connected to the cavity of the flow-through chamber (13), whereas the stator (16) has through-channels (18) the number of which corresponds to the number of the containers (1), each of those channels being connected to the corresponding container (1) and being mounted in such a way, that the through-channel (17) in the rotor (15) is capable, in the course of rotation of the latter, of being connected, in succession to the channels (18) of the stator (16).
