Abstract

Apparatus for heating a fluid comprises a domestic microwave oven containing polypropylene or toughened glass tubes for passage through the oven of the fluid to be heated.

Description

INSTANT ENERGY UNIT (I.E.U.) This invention relates to heating fluids for use in heating systems.
Its function is to replace existing and replacement central heating boiler or furnace systems. The principle is to heat fluids by means of a microwave oven and then distribute these fluids to either conventional radiators or hot air systems via cool air blown through heated elements.
This is done either through an ordinary domestic microwave oven and then distribute these fluids to either conventional radiators or hot air systems via cool air blOTi through heated elements.
This is done either through an ordinary domestic microwave oven via polypropelyne or toughened glass tubes or through industrial microwave ovens via metal tubes. going through the diagram (c) figure 1 fluid, either alcohol, oil or water is fed via a non return valve from a header tank to the piping figure 2 in the heating chamber (microwave oven) figure 3 here the fluid is heated to a temperature from the control panel figure 4 from the heat chamber the fluid is pumped to the radiators/elements from the pump figure 3.
The heated fluid can either be replaced through the system in a measured amount, ie capacity or radiators + pipework = capacity of pipework in heating chamber, so pump is programmed to that measured amount, or by continuous pump, through complete system. The size of heating chamber and capacity of piping in heating chamber is dependant on area to be heated and these requirements are catered for at time of instalation.

  1. CLAIMS 1 This system can be used to heat conventional centrai heating radiators.
  2. 2 This instant energy unit can be used to heat conventional hot air systems by blowing air through car type radiators.
  3. 3 This instant energy unit can be used as a portable heating system with a sealed liquid supply.
