Description

AN IMPROVED GLOVE MANUFACTUFING MACHINE This invention relates to an improved glove manufacturing machine.
In one prior art glove manufacturing machine, both sides of the transmitting chain are provided with fixed hand-shaped mold and the gloves are produced through the procedures of cleansing, drying, condensing emulsion, drying, applying emulsion and flanging. However, only one hand-shaped mold can be mounted at each side of the chain so the quantity of gloves produced in one cycle is limited to a small amount.
Furthermore, it is impossible to maintain an appropriate distance during the motion of the hand-shaped molds along the track thereby making it also impossible to carry flanging at the same time.
It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to provide an improved glove manufacturing machine which may obviate and mitigate the above-mentioned disadvantages.
According to the present invention there is provided an improved glove manufacturing machine couprising: a transmitting chain having a pin chain plate which is formed with two holes for threadedly engaged with two holes for member having a Shaped end; a movable frame pivotally connected with the U-shaped end of the fixed linking member; a fixed mold having a shaft connected with one end of the movable frame; a movable mold having a U-shaped connector connected with the other end of the movable frame; and flanging devices alternately disposed at upper and lower positions and driven by two motors.
In one preferred embodiment of the present invention an improved glove manufacturing machine is provided with two or more hand-shaped molds at both sides of the chain.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention an improved glove manufacturing machine has at least one of the hand-shaped molds fixed so as to control the distance between the two hand-shaped molds thereby ensuring the movement between the two tracks.
Preferably, the flanging devices are alternately disposed at upper and lower positions so that the hand-shaped molds can pass through the space between the tracks and the flanging device thus enabling flanging to be carried out at the same time.
The improved glove manufacturing mashine according to the present invention advantageously operate to increase the production efficiency.
An embodiment of the present invention will now be described by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows the working procedure of the gloves manufacturing machine according to this invention.
Fig. 2 is a working view of the hand-shaped molds of this invention.
Fig. 3 shows the mechanism between the drain and the hand-shaped molds.
Fig. 4 is an exploded view of the mechanism of Fig. 3.
Fig. 5 shows the component parts of the structure of the hand-shaped mold.
Fig. 6 is a sectional view showing the connection between the component parts of the structure of the handshaped molds.
Fig. 7 is the top view of the rlanging device of this invention.
Fig. 8 is the side view of the flanging device of this invention.
Below is a detailed description of the preferred embodiment of this invention.
As shown in Figs. 1 to 4 the pin chain plate 2 of the chain is formed with two holes for threadedly en gaging with a fixed linkina member 3. The fixed linking member 3 has a U-shaped end which is pivotally connected with a movable frame 5 by means of a pin 4. The movable frame 5 is connected with a shaft 7 of a fixed mold 6 at its one end and a U-shapCd connector- 8 of a movable mold 9 at its the other end. The U-.#baped connector 8 is threadedly engaged with the shaft 10 of the movable mold 9.
Please refer to Figs. 3, 5 and 6, both the fixed mold 6 and the movable mold 9 are hollow in structure and have a rectangular hole at one end in which are disposed two packings 11 and 11'. A bolt 13 extends through the packings 11 and 11' and a connecting plate 14 and then engaged with a washer and a nut 12. The upper end and the lower end of the connecting plate 14 are respectively provided with bolts 15 and 16 which are engaged with a Tshaped pulley 17 and fixed thereto by a washer and a nut so that the connecting plate 14 is integral with the T-shaped pulley 17. The left side of the T-shaped pulley 17 (with respect to Fig. 5) has a recess for accomodating the connecting plate 14.Two semi-circular plates 18 and 19 are respectively adapted to two sides of the connecting plate 14 so as to fill up the coupling surface of the side 42 of the T-shaped pulley 17 thereby enhancing the engagement.
The circumference of the side 42 of the T-shaped pulley 17 is formed with an annular groove for engaging with a friction ring 20 so that the fixed mold 6 and the movable mold 9 will be rotated when in contact with the track.
The cylindrical portion 43 of the T-shaped pulley 17 is provided with a stepped hole. A bearing 21 is first pushed into the steeped hole by a hydraulic press (not shown) until it is in contact with the step thereof. Then, the shafts 10 and 7 are inserted into corresponding bearings 21. The shafts 10 and 7 are rigidly connected to the bearings 21 and 21' by retainer rings 22 and 23.
A cover 24 is engaged with the end of the cylindrical portion 43 of the T-shaped pulley 17 for keeping dust there from.
The fixed mold 6 and the movable mold 9 are identical in structure. However, the shaft 7 of the former is directly locked on the movable frame 5 so that it can move therewith but cannot move by itself.
Turning to Fig. 7 and 8, the flanqing device 30 is driven by two motors 31 and 32. The motor 31 first drives a pulley 311 which in turn rotates a second pulley 312 via a belt. The second pulley 312 is fixedly mounted on a spindle 313 so that the spindle 313 will rotate with the pulley 312.
Both ends of the spindle 313 are respectively supported by two bearings 314 and 315 and the surface of the spindle 313 is provided with bristles so that the glove on the mold will be flanged by means of the rotation of the bristles on the sprindle 313. The motor 32 drives a pulley 323 via a belt connecting two pulleys 321 and 322. As the pulley 323 rotates, a pulley 324 will rotate there with via a belt. The pulley 323 and 324 are used to drive a belt which will in turn rotate the movable mold 9 and the fixed mold 6.
The flanging devices 30 and 40 are arranged alternately in upper and lower positions so as to enable the movable mold 9 to move downwards to get away from upper flanging device 40 after flanging has been accomplished through the lower flanging device 30. Meanwhile, the fixed mold 6 through the upper flanging device 40 will not move downwards to interfere with flanging of the movable mold 9.
Similarly, when the fixed mold 6 works on the upper flanging device 40, the movable mold 9 therebelow will not be blocked in action. As a result, the fixed mold 6 and the movable mold 9 can work at the same time. It should be noted, however, that the number of the mold can be increased as desired so long as to comply with the aforesaid structures.
