Abstract
A bath accessory to prevent disabled people and pregnant women from slipping when getting out of a bath comprises a generally trapezoidal frame made from wood or plastics material and fittable within an end of the bath.
Description
RELATING TO IMPROVED BATH AID, BEING PORTABLE; NON-SLIP;
RIGID; FLOATABLE; CAPABLE OF BEING DISMANTLED, AND
INDEPENDANT UNIT, FOR DISABLED PEOPLE
The invention relates to an improved bath Aid for disabled people and women in pregnancy. The invention is a portable non-slip bath stop aid which is riged in structure, floatable on water and capable of being dismantled, but non-flexible in use and can be produced as a fixed unit for moulding in a plastic substance, and or, of a wooden structure which can be dismantled for packing purposes in a suitcase when going on holiday. both versions of the invention are a frame of-four members, shaped to fit in domestic baths, the narrower members situated near the draining of the bath, and the wider foot member v.rith anti-slip wooden strips is situated near the middle distance of the bath. Both versions of invention normally function in an empty bath, but in an emergency can be used in a full bath of water with safety to the user.
In the event of adjustments to measurements of the frame unit to the variety of bath sizes, can be met with interchangeable sizes of members which can be slotted into the narrow and wide members of the frame and screwed together for safety, applicable only to the collapsible unit. Both designs of the invention are light in weight to handle, and can be stood alongside of a bath before use, and can be hung on a wall after use by means of a hand-grip of convenient design and can be produced gin wood or other floatable substance.

Claims (1)
- WRAT I CADIZ IS :(1) An anti-slip bath stop Aid fraud for disabled people and women in pregnancy, enabling the user to get out of a bath without slipping and falling in the process.(2) Anti-slip bath stop Aid which is portable, floatable in water, riged in structure in both units, one of .rhich is capable of being dismantled for packing in a suitcase for travelling purposes (3) An Aid which can be produced in ood or other floatable substance, is light in weigh and easy to handle.(4) An anti-slip bath stop Aid claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3.An anti-slip bath stop Aid substantially as herin described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
